General Hospital Spoilers: Ava and Laura Have Had Enough – Plot To Take Cyrus Down For Good

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Cassadine (Maura West) will run into Laura Collins (Genie Francis) at General Hospital in an upcoming episode. Ava and Laura will agree that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will have to be taken down for good, no matter what it takes!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Could Have Been Killed And Laura Collins’ Life Is Threatened

General Hospital viewers will recall that Laura’s son, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) could have been killed down at Pier 55 where Ava had played decoy to get Cyrus to release Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). The trade, as General Hospital viewers will recall, was supposed to be Gladys Corbin, (Bonnie Burroughs) who was in surgery, for Spinelli. Even though Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had arrived just in time to shoot Cyrus and get Spinelli released, one of Cyrus’ goons had survived a shot and was getting ready to take out Nikolas when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up and finished the goon off!

Since that time, Cyrus showed up at Dr. Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) house and put both her and her daughter Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) in danger, forcing her to attend to his bullet wound. Cyrus warned her to play her cards right and they would all walk away alive, but apparently, Portia was able to get a call out to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) while Laura was at The Savoy to congratulate him.

This way both Laura and Curtis found out that Portia and Trina were in danger, and then later Laura found her own life in danger thanks to Cyrus! It would surprise no one if Laura headed over to Portia’s house and attempted a hostage negotiation with her half-brother! Ava and Laura discuss all of these incidents at General Hospital, and it may even be the first that Laura hears about what happened down at Pier 55 in relation to Nikolas and Ava having almost been shot!

GH Spoilers – Ava Cassadine And Laura Collins Discuss Strategy

General Hospital viewers know that Laura really doesn’t like the idea of Ava putting herself in danger again – even in the process of a takedown of Cyrus. General Hospital viewers will remember that Laura grew protective of Ava way back when she was dating Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) when no one but Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) knew that his brother had taken his place and was impersonating him again! Once Laura found out, she knew she had to take Ava under her wing because she was yet another stalking victim of her sick, psychotic brother-in-law!

Now, a few short years later she’s her daughter-in-law and they are family because of that. However, Ava did spend a good bit of her life in the mob and has certain skills that might serve well in taking down Cyrus, who basically is a mobster as well. He’s another stripe of mob lord than Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who Laura was also always close with was, with Cyrus’ “business” being drug dealing covered up by a philanthropist’s exterior.

Laura has seen through him from the start although she could see how his mother’s rejection most of his life was part of what made him the way he is – but Laura cannot and will not try to heal his mommy wound. It wouldn’t change what Cyrus has become because of it. Ava and Laura discuss strategy and a way to take Cyrus down for good, for the good of Port Charles and to bring Cyrus to the justice he deserves – no matter what it takes!
