General Hospital Spoilers reveal Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) has a plan for the ages up her sleeve that is going to rock Port Charles and its gossiping hive mind. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has slaughtered Ava’s heart and left her in shambles. Just when she thought things couldn’t get worse with Nik she finds out even his lies are lies. The snowball he’s been feeding her has only grown ever since she left Wyndemere — a time during which she thought Nik was trying his hardest to win her back.

Nothing was as it seemed though, and Nik was really scrambling to make sure his wife didn’t find out he was having a child with his son’s ex-girlfriend. Now that the truth is out, Ava isn’t going to rest until she makes Nikolas pay for what he’s done to her heart, and Elizabeth will become collateral damage just for helping him.

Recently showing up with love in her heart and a willingness to try again, she was rejected by Nikolas as he served her divorce papers and offered up a phony story about an affair and unintended pregnancy with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Ava has now discovered that the entire story — including Elizabeth’s quick miscarriage — was a lie. Elizabeth was covering for the fact that Nikolas has impregnated Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), who is now back and claiming to be suffering from memory loss.

For a moment, fans were suspecting that Ava might try to hook up with Nikolas’ son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), just to get back at him. However, that wouldn’t bode well for Ava, who holds her friendship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) quite dear. Thus, Ava might set her sights on another young man in Port Chuck instead. Nikolas is likely to be bothered by any torrid affair Ava has because he does still love his wife.
