General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome Is Watching Her Back

With Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Colomo) back in Port Charles and with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) still dreaming of reuniting with Ava, it’s no wonder that she is having a hard time getting some sleep these days! She’s got so much to worry about.

General Hospital head co-writer Chris Van Etten puts it this way to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “She’s in a pretty dark place right now. Ryan’s continued and unwanted presence in her life is not helping.”

And while Ava had assumed that her visit to Pentonville to tell Ryan that nothing will ever happen between them, it doesn’t look like that has helped at all. The fact that the most dangerous man in Port Charles gave Bryce a tongue lashing after he disrespected Ava speaks volumes. In other words, he is still completely obsessed and infatuated with the beautiful blonde, which gives Ava a reason to worry even more.

Chris Van Etten added, “The big question now is whether Ava is capable of bouncing back. And if she is able to do that, who will she be when she comes out of this crisis on the other side?”

Well, there are two answers to that. Either Ava will be stronger and wiser than ever before or she might become even darker than those who have been trying to make her life hell! Either way, if there is something that we have learned about Ava Jerome and her past, it’s that no matter how many times you try knocking her down, she will always come back up stronger than ever before.
