General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Isn’t Chasing The Cassadine Fortune — What Does She Plan To Take From Nik?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is on a warpath against her soon-to-be ex-husband Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), but she’s not after what most would suspect. When a woman divorces a Cassadine, she’s usually gunning for a severance package that compensates her well for the time she endured being married to royalty who snubbed and ignored her feelings for the duration of their union.

Ava might not be able to say Nikolas never loved her, but she can argue that he never loved her right. There was always something in the way of wedded bliss for these two, and now, Ava is going to see to it that happiness is unattainable for Nikolas. But this revenge story has nothing to do with money for Ava.

General Hospital Spoilers — Ava is a Woman Scorned

While a woman scorned is a dangerous thing itself, a woman scorned by a Cassadine carries its own risks. Likewise, the person who ticks off Ava should always be prepared to keep an eye out over their shoulder. When Ava promises to make someone pay, they will pay indeed.

Nikolas isn’t thinking about what Ava might do next. He’s hoping their divorce can be swift and that Ava will move on at the same pace. However, she’s just starting to sink her teeth into the revenge business, and it looks like she’s feeling happy and at home there.

GH Spoilers Hint She’s Not the Only One Feeling the Sting of Nik’s Rejection

Of course, Ava knows all too well now how it feels to have Nikolas reject her out of the blue. It was supposed to be her decision as to whether their marriage survived or not. To hear that Nikolas would rather pursue a future with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) was torture to Ava, and soon, she’s going to find someone else who knows just how she feels.

Everything will come full circle for Ava when she realizes this is somewhat close to how Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) must have felt when his father rejected him in favor of spending his life with Ava.

General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer and Ava Unite

When Ava and Spencer manage to set their feelings aside and apologize for the horrible way they’ve treated each other, they’ll both come to realize they might be better off as friends than as enemies. An alliance could prove to be a tempting force for both of them to get what they want out of Nikolas.

While both of them wouldn’t mind seeing him squirm a bit and being the reason he’s unhappy, Ava and Spencer want Nik to feel the same way they did when they found out he slept with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Will they plan to make Nik think there’s something more than mending fences going on between them? Might their act turn into the real deal?
