General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is out for blood when it comes to the custody battle against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard); however, the mob boss may be the least of her worries.
The promo video for the week of July 29-August 2 shows that Ava could be dealing with an unknown threat. A clip in the preview reveals someone spying on Ms. Jerome, so there’s a good chance this person has awful plans they want to carry out, by creeping her every move.

GH’s weekly promo implies someone is watching Ava, which could be via a gun scope or camera lens. It’s hard to tell and these compiled clips for the preview often flash quickly just to give fans a glimpse of what they can expect for the week.
There’s a chance that Sonny has asked someone, like Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to spy on his baby momma. After all, the mob boss could request that his right-hand man do some surveillance and get the dirt on Ava he needs to secure sole custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Then again, what if the person behind the lens is John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington)? While Ava and John have become “friends”, viewers have learned that he’s not a person anyone can trust.
After all, Jerome has been working overtime to manipulate him, and with his latest loss of trying to bring Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) down for those RICO charges, he could lash out at Ava by pulling something on her and leave Port Charles in a blaze of glory.
GH Spoilers – Unknown Assassin Targets Ava Jerome
GH fans have been sniffing a “Who Dun It” storyline on Ava’s horizon. Some viewers feel she’s being written into a corner on the show.
While she was once on a road to redemption, this angle has been blown out of the water due to her recent moves. Even her bestie Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has been rubbed the wrong way by Ava’s actions.
Could an unknown assassin be targeting Ava? Does she get shot? Could Ava die?
While everyone would be pointing to the usual suspects if she was murdered – i.e. Carly, Sonny, John … possibly Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) – the killer may be a new character introduced to the canvas or even someone from Ava’s shady past.
There’s also a possibility that Ric Lansing is dragged into this all with actor Rick Hearst re-entering the Port Charles equation.

Ava moved in with Sonny to save her and Avery from someone who was stalking her. Whether she set it up we don’t know, but I don’t think she did. That story was dropped, so is this an old stalker or a new one? We know that Brick has been spying on her at Sonny’s instructions, but everyone knows Sonny told him to, so that can’t be considered stalking. He is aPi along with everything else I imagine and Sonny surely wants dirt on Ava for the custody hearing.
Ava being stalked once again – kind of an old plot being revised. Perhaps the wording is wrong on this one. Sonny did assign Brick to get info on Ava for the custody trial so I believe it was Brick not spying but doing what he does best to assist Sonny. Plus, if things go this way, Sonny would have evidence on Ava not only fighting with Kristina, but also being intimate with Jagger. Who knows what road writers are traveling, just have to wait and see.
