General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Suspects Nikolas Trying To Kill Her – Charlotte Drops A Huge Hint It Was Her!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) suspects her in-name-only husband Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) of sneaking an unwanted surprise into her purse at Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) recent birthday party in this week’s GH Sneak Peek – or should that be “Snake Peek?!”

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins, Lulu Spencer, And Charlotte Cassadine Sit At A Table Together In The Metro Court

Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) asks her mother, Lulu Spencer, (Emme Rylan) if she can ask the waitress for another drink, as she, Lulu, and her maternal grandmother Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) sit at a table in the Metro Court. Lulu tells her, “Of course, sweetheart” as Laura casts a rather concerned eye on her granddaughter. Laura and Lulu watch as the child heads for the waitress as Laura says Charlotte seems to be fine, but still looks worried.

Lulu says she’s just glad that she wasn’t traumatized by that snake in Ava’s purse. Laura sighs and shakes her head as she looks at something, possibly Charlotte, but more likely Ava, who is sitting at another table with Nikolas. General Hospital viewers will recall that Nikolas is Laura’s oldest son, conceived when she was kidnapped by the Cassadines many years ago, and forced to marry Stavros Cassadine, (most recently Robert Kelker-Kelly) who was Nikolas’ father.

Nikolas had come to the United States from Greece at the age of fifteen, along with his uncle, Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols) to donate bone marrow to baby Lulu, who had suffered from aplastic anemia.

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Cassadine Suspects Nikolas Cassadine Of Planting The Snake

Ava suspects that Nikolas was the culprit as she says to him, “If that snake in my handbag was your attempt to get me out of the way…” Nikolas interrupts, saying, “I mean, it sounds like the snake was no match for you!” Ava tells Nikolas that’s not exactly a denial. Nikolas defends himself, telling her that he was nowhere near that birthday party, and asks her how he could have planted a snake in her bag! Ava responds, telling him “The same way you do everything else – you paid somebody off, never mind that you terrorized a room full of children! Nikolas spots his niece Charlotte at the bar – he gets her attention and asks, “Charlotte – were the kids afraid of the snake?”

Charlotte says that most of them thought it was cool. Ava says, “Well, I most certainly did not.” Charlotte told Ava that she screamed really loud! Nikolas grins, and asks Ava, “Did you?” probably imagining the scene in his mind of the prissy Ava jumping on a tabletop or something, and amused at the irony of a former mob moll who knows how to handle a gun and had killed people being afraid of a non-poisonous snake! Ava says she reached into her bag for her phone and got a handful of a snake and that she reacted accordingly!

Charlotte then teases her, telling her it’s too bad she didn’t have a secret bodyguard, obviously taking a dig at Nikolas who had told her he was her secret bodyguard before revealing himself to be alive, as General Hospital viewers will recall. Nikolas cannot respond any way other than with an embarrassed smile!
