Ava Realizes Drew Used Her As A Pawn

It’s understandable how Ava might think that she’s nothing but Drew’s patsy-he was the one who told her she’d have to help so the obstacle of Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) was removed.

He told her he needed to search his room in the Metro Court to find some leverage that Brennan had on him, and to keep Brennan busy.

After that was done, then he’d help her with her issues with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) which involved custody of their daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

Drew had given her what he referred to as a sleeping pill, to give Brennan, and she crushed it and stirred it into his bourbon, thinking he’d just doze off.

Usually it takes more than one sleeping pill with alcohol to do anything more than make someone super sleepy-it’s still not been confirmed if the mixture killed him, or not.

Nina’s Arrest Changes Everything For Ava

Ava had showed up at the PCPD just in time to see her best friend, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) dragged away screaming, surrounded by WSB agents extraditing her to Switzerland.

That shows that Ava was starting to realize that Drew likely never intended to help her with Sonny, and custody of Avery.

She seemed ready to tell what she knew right there and then, but it was too late, though she saw the arrest, and then went to the PCPD afterwards, but she turned around and left.

And Ava realizes she needs to bring Nina’s daughter, Congresswoman Willow Tait into the loop.

Ava Points Willow Straight At Drew

Ava meets with Willow, and not wanting to incriminate herself, implies Drew framed Nina-and she’s not the only one who thinks so. Willow sought advice from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who confirmed he thought so too.

Willow did meet with acting WSB station chief William Baines, (Alimi Ballard) at Valentin’s suggestion to get his ideas on what she could do to get her mother released and back home.

But soon, the two women will realize that with the WSB, catching the fly with honey’s not working and they’ll have to go to the vinegar!

The two of them concoct a plot to take Drew down for good-preferably life in prison, but taking him out permanently isn’t ruled out!
