General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Worms Her Way Into Sonny’s Bed — And Nina Drops A Truth Bomb

General Hospital spoilers report that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) insisted that Ava Jerome (Maura West) get out of dodge for a while after learning about the seriousness of the threats against both of them.

It’s hard to believe he’s shacked up on his island with this baby mama in particular, but he and Ava have come a long way over the years in the interest of being good co-parents to their daughter, Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola).

Their current living situation has this pair living together for safety purposes, and it’s going to force them to be a bit gentler and more open with one another. As they grow to become something like friends, they just might be headed back to the mainland soon as very different people — who feel quite differently about each other than they did before. Nina is never going to stand for that.

General Hospital Spoilers — What About the Others?

Sonny loves to tout that he’ll do anything to keep the mothers of his children safe. This time around, that’s gone as far as moving Ava into his penthouse — and now escorting her to his personal island, where, as luck would have it, it turns out she’s not that safe after all.

General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Worms Her Way Into Sonny’s Bed — And Nina Drops A Truth Bomb

The heightened threat against both of them will have a strong impact on Sonny’s emotions, and he’s already vulnerable right now. But the fans are asking, is Ava his only concern for a reason?

Sure, she’s the one being stalked and tormented, but John Brennan (Charles Mesure) was sulking around Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and we don’t see Sonny insisting on Carly coming to the island with all of his other kids.

We don’t see extra protection for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) or Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on the horizon.

Why the preferential treatment of Ava, and how was Sonny so sure the person stalking her was even connected to him after all she’d gotten herself into? He couldn’t have been.

GH Spoilers – Claim The Embers Of Yesterday Ignite

While fans are eagerly awaiting some kind of island tryst to go down between Sonny and Ava, it isn’t likely.

Sonny is only now starting to open up to Ava. Gaining his trust as someone he can confide in, rather than just a friend of Nina’s, will be an important milestone for these co-parents.

While many romances have happened over the years since their last one-night stand, Ava and Sonny did have a fleeting affection for one another way back.

Hence, Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola). Will the danger swirling around them, combined with their jilted feelings over Nina and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), lead to a reboot?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Holds The Trump Card

There’s just one problem with Ava gaining Sonny’s trust and using it to fall for him all over again. She’s been lying to him by omission the entire time she’s been hacked up with the guy.

When Nina was still in the picture, she was staying out of their business and letting her friend handle her own affairs. But now that Ava is tiptoeing toward an affair of her own, she owes it to Sonny to tell him she knew of Nina’s secrets from the very beginning.

If she doesn’t, we can rest assured that Nina will blow the whistle on that lie as soon as she learns of her friend’s betrayal.

Please no say it isn’t so about sonny and ava

Ava should tell Sonny she knew about the SEC foolishness. Of course if it is revealed Sonny/Ava did have a one night stand, Nina would be the first to advise Sonny of Ava’s knowledge, and if she doesn’t, there is some hope for the charactes. The old saying is misery loves company, and I wouldn’t put Nina past anything to get her need for revenge.
