If Ava Goes Down, Drew Is Going Down With Her!

When Ava asked Drew to help her with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), she had no idea she’d wind up being a possible suspect in the death of a WSB agent!

She also had no idea that Drew would frame her best friend, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who’s currently in Steinmauer!

Drew told her that before he could help her with Sonny, she had to help him remove an obstacle—an obstacle named Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna).

Drew gave her what he called a sleeping pill to drug Brennan with, telling her to “keep him busy” while Drew hacked into Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) computer at the Metro Court.

That way, he could take down the security system, break into Brennan’s room, and look for the evidence Brennan had.

One problem: it wasn’t there!

As previously reported, Drew’s scheme to frame Nina for Brennan’s death left Ava tangled in a dangerous cover-up she never anticipated.

Ava Isn’t Happy With Drew’s Recent Actions

Ava isn’t happy with Drew’s actions of late, and she needs to find some way to disassociate herself from him for good.

And she has some ideas.

Of course, he blusters and threatens to make her Nina’s cellmate in Steinmauer and things like that, but Ava thinks she might be able to take him down without going down with him!

In the aftermath of Brennan becoming a floater in the Metro Court pool and her helping Drew bury him, she thinks long and hard about that “sleeping pill.”

She has to wonder if that’s really what it was.

Brennan may have gotten really drowsy since she crushed it and stirred it into his bourbon, but it shouldn’t have killed him.

As fans will recall, Ava and Drew secretly moved Brennan’s body after finding him floating in the Metro Court pool.

Could Drew have deliberately given Ava something far more dangerous than a sleeping pill?

Ava Has To Get The Ball Back In Her Court

Ava has to get the ball back in her court and wonders how she might do it.

Pretty soon, she comes up with a plan.

It’s a risky one, but it just might work to turn the tables on Drew.

And while she won’t be totally innocent, she could claim duress.

Ava’s put on the spot this week on the ABC soap, and it’s likely by Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett), who’s investigating Brennan’s disappearance.

Ava might just tell him the truth about what happened and explain that everything went terribly wrong.

What was meant as a distraction may have turned into a drowning.

She can’t deny that she was probably the last person to see Brennan alive, but she definitely didn’t intend to kill him.

Of course, she won’t tell the whole truth—only the parts that will help her and hurt Drew!

With Brennan’s death already threatening to expose Ava and Drew’s cover-up, turning on her partner in crime could be Ava’s best chance of avoiding prison.

But will Drew see her betrayal coming?

And if Ava tries to save herself by exposing him, could Drew retaliate before she gets the chance?

I think Ava needs to get away from Drew as quickly as possible!

She made a terrible mistake trusting him, and now she’s caught up in a mess that could send her to prison.

What really bothers me is that Drew has no problem throwing anyone under the bus to save himself. Just look at what he did to Nina!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Ava decides she’s had enough and starts working on a plan to take him down.

But Ava isn’t exactly innocent here, either. She helped drug Brennan and covered up his death, so she’s going to have a hard time explaining that away.

Still, if anyone can turn a bad situation around, it’s Ava Jerome!
