General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) has a dirty little secret. She knows Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is being manipulated — by his pharmacist.

That’s right. Sonny’s medication has been tampered with for months, all at the request of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). With him out of town, Ava swooped in at just the right time to muddy the waters further and demand the GH pharmacist further drive the mob boss out of his mind by kicking his meds up a notch.

As Ava and Sonny’s custody case nears, will she use his prescription against him to bake up a courtroom surprise he’ll never forget?

Sonny has already been behaving pretty volatile in recent months. Ava is no stranger to his changing moods, but she has known what she was working with for some time now too.

Sonny’s other friends and family haven’t had that luxury as they try to dodge his mood swings and not become the target of his next takedown.

As he zeroes in on Ava with every intention of taking her down, his mismanaged meds could leave him seriously off his rocker. All it’ll take is one very public meltdown for Sonny to lose any credibility walking into a courtroom asking for full custody of Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola).

Will Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) co-sign Ava’s plan when he figures out what she’s up to?

It’s no secret that Jagger has a bone to pick with Sonny. His vendetta against the mob boss is what brought him back to town, and he’s been plotting this revenge for years — with at least the last two involving using Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to get closer to his real mark.

Sonny’s hatred for Sonny is real and emotional. Ava could milk that for everything it’s worth. At the same time, fans are questioning whether Jagger is just using Ava to get information on Sonny.

It actually does seem like he may really like her though, but sure, he could be biased because she too hates Sonny with a passion right now. The enemy of thy enemy is thy friend, as they say.

While Jagger may have some physical attraction and professional interest in Ava right now, we might see his concern and care for her ratchet up soon as she comes under fire — and quite literally.

The fans are worried that Ava may be on her way out, with all sorts of signs pointing to her eventual demise at the hands of a reckless and spiraling Sonny.
