General Hospital spoilers tease that as 2022 comes to a close it’s time to look back at some of the things that stood out in Port Charles, both the good and the not so good. Let’s take a look at what this writer believes was the best General Hospital storyline of 2022. It all started in August and is still going strong. Who is the Hook?

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Was Viciously Attacked With A Hook!

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has quite a few enemies. But someone took their hatred to the next level and viciously attacked Ava at the Quartermaine boathouse with a fishing hook. Ava was saved thanks to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

But Ava was only the first attack and the next victim wasn’t so lucky. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was attacked soon after and although he survived the initial attack, the killer upped their game by applying poison to the tip of the hook. Brando sadly passed away.

GH Spoilers – The Hook Terrifies Port Charles!

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) were also attacked in the following weeks. Diane survived while unfortunately, Oz did not.

And although at first it looked like all the victims had a connection to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) but once Oz was attacked, attention turned to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Brando was not likely the intended target when he was killed, instead the killer may have been after Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis Takes Action!

Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wrote an open letter to the killer as the editor of the Intruder. After several weeks, the killer wrote back and although Alexis held back from printing the letter at first, she is likely about to do so now which could make her the next target.

This is the type of storyline that the show does best, including almost the whole cast as viewers wait to find out who will be next? And while the obvious culprit seems to be Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), things may be much more complicated as the story continues at least through the end of the year, perhaps longer.
