General Hospital Spoilers – Billy’s Official Letter To His Fans

Billy wrote an official letter to his General Hospital fans, which follows:

“Hello Friends,

With a slight air of sadness, it is time to ponder what “Goodbye” means. However, instead of dwelling on what is gone and sure to be missed, there is another way. Maybe our goodbye is really a remembrance of love felt, an appreciation for lives shared, and the lifelong reminisces that come from embraces and received. Maybe our goodbye is an earnest hope for the brightest path forward for us all. Now, instead of sadness, I am filled with gratitude for all your support, encouragement, and every emotion shared. I cherish the journey we have taken together. Thank you for allowing me into your home and lives. With every ounce of myself, I thank you for being you. I would be remiss in this crazy, unpredictable world we all love so much if I did not hold out the possibility that maybe our goodbye is really…UNTIL NEXT TIME

All My Love,

Billy Miller.”

General Hospital Spoilers – Billy Joined General Hospital in 2014

GH producer Frank Valentini tweeted on September 14, 2014 that Billy was joining GH as a replacement for Steve Burton, who was still busy over at the CBS soap “The Young And The Restless” as war vet Dylan McAvoy, after much fan outcry for the character of the presumed dead Jason Morgan to return. “Jason” who was later revealed to be Drew Cain, a previously unknown identical twin to Jason, was being kept alive after being in stasis in an overseas laboratory by Dr. Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough). She was able to bring him back to life and the two escaped the lab and headed to Port Charles.

General Hospital Spoilers – “Jason” Was Severely Injured After Being Run Over By Ava Jerome

“Jason” was severely injured by Ava Jerome (Maura West) once he reached Port Charles after being separated from Robin. He had to have plastic surgery, changing his appearance, and his vocal cords were injured, changing his voice. He had amnesia and was known as Jake Doe. Later, it was assumed he was Jason, after Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) ran a photo of him after plastic surgery into a facial reconstruction program. Drew slowly began regaining his memories, only they were Jason’s, which seemed to prove he was Jason.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Real Jason Returns

When the real Jason returned in the fall of 2017, over a period of a few months Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), who had previously thought Jason was his brother, started again having memories of his early childhood and still recalled his brother and friend “Andrew”. Jake Doe, who was assumed to be Jason, was revealed to be Franco’s “brother” Andrew, who had grown up to be decorated Navy Seal Drew Cain.

It was revealed that Heather Webber, (Robin Mattson) conspired with Nurse Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang) to spilt up Heather’s cousin Susan Moore’s (Gail Ramsey) twins, one being Jason and the other one Drew, and Betsy took both Drew and Heather’s baby with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) who grew up to be Franco, and raised them for a few years as her own until abuse happened in the home because of her evil boyfriend Jim Harvey (Greg Evigan) and she kept Franco but gave up Drew to an orphanage.

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew And Jason Were Both Kidnapped By Cesar Faison

Drew and Jason were both kidnapped by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) for a memory transfer study being done by Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) but it left Drew with only Jason’s memories and none of his own. Jason, in the meantime has all his memories except of the time they were both in the memory transfer study. Drew discovered he had a teenage son by Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) shortly after Jason arrived back in Port Charles and she mistook him for Drew at a Thanksgiving dinner at the Corinthos home.

Oscar Nero, who changed his name to Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) shortly before his death in May 2019 from a brain tumor brought Kim and Drew closer together as his parents but there was no revived romantic relationship between them.

General Hospital Spoilers – Some More Of Drew’s Past Is Now Being Revealed

Currently, GH seems to be wrapping up Drew’s story with more of his past being revealed through the memories of Hank “Shiloh” Archer, an evil cult leader who has a past with Drew when in Afghanistan. Prior to being kidnapped by Faison, Drew was getting ready to turn Shiloh, whose life he saved, in for treason against the United States; he and another Seal, Tex (uncast character) were selling fuel from United States Navy installations to enemy insurgents for a profit. Drew saved Shiloh from an explosion of an IED, or Improvised Explosive Device (like a pipe bomb) but was unable to save Tex.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Drew Cain Be Recast?

It is currently unknown how Drew will exit the GH canvas, but current storylines seem to indicate his past will be revealed; there has been no word on whether the character’s exit will be permanent, or open-ended, meaning a recast is possible when Billy Miller leaves.
