General Hospital Spoilers – Billy’s Official Letter To His Fans

Billy wrote an official letter to his General Hospital fans, which follows:

“Hello Friends,

With a slight air of sadness, it is time to ponder what “Goodbye” means. However, instead of dwelling on what is gone and sure to be missed, there is another way. Maybe our goodbye is really a remembrance of love felt, an appreciation for lives shared, and the lifelong reminisces that come from embraces and received. Maybe our goodbye is an earnest hope for the brightest path forward for us all. Now, instead of sadness, I am filled with gratitude for all your support, encouragement, and every emotion shared. I cherish the journey we have taken together. Thank you for allowing me into your home and lives. With every ounce of myself, I thank you for being you. I would be remiss in this crazy, unpredictable world we all love so much if I did not hold out the possibility that maybe our goodbye is really…UNTIL NEXT TIME

All My Love,

Billy Miller.”

General Hospital Spoilers – Billy Joined General Hospital in 2014

GH producer Frank Valentini tweeted on September 14, 2014 that Billy was joining GH as a replacement for Steve Burton, who was still busy over at the CBS soap “The Young And The Restless” as war vet Dylan McAvoy, after much fan outcry for the character of the presumed dead Jason Morgan to return. “Jason” who was later revealed to be Drew Cain, a previously unknown identical twin to Jason, was being kept alive after being in stasis in an overseas laboratory by Dr. Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough). She was able to bring him back to life and the two escaped the lab and headed to Port Charles.

General Hospital Spoilers – “Jason” Was Severely Injured After Being Run Over By Ava Jerome

“Jason” was severely injured by Ava Jerome (Maura West) once he reached Port Charles after being separated from Robin. He had to have plastic surgery, changing his appearance, and his vocal cords were injured, changing his voice. He had amnesia and was known as Jake Doe. Later, it was assumed he was Jason, after Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) ran a photo of him after plastic surgery into a facial reconstruction program. Drew slowly began regaining his memories, only they were Jason’s, which seemed to prove he was Jason.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Real Jason Returns

When the real Jason returned in the fall of 2017, over a period of a few months Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), who had previously thought Jason was his brother, started again having memories of his early childhood and still recalled his brother and friend “Andrew”. Jake Doe, who was assumed to be Jason, was revealed to be Franco’s “brother” Andrew, who had grown up to be decorated Navy Seal Drew Cain.

It was revealed that Heather Webber, (Robin Mattson) conspired with Nurse Betsy Frank (Deborah Strang) to spilt up Heather’s cousin Susan Moore’s (Gail Ramsey) twins, one being Jason and the other one Drew, and Betsy took both Drew and Heather’s baby with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) who grew up to be Franco, and raised them for a few years as her own until abuse happened in the home because of her evil boyfriend Jim Harvey (Greg Evigan) and she kept Franco but gave up Drew to an orphanage.

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew And Jason Were Both Kidnapped By Cesar Faison

Drew and Jason were both kidnapped by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) for a memory transfer study being done by Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) but it left Drew with only Jason’s memories and none of his own. Jason, in the meantime has all his memories except of the time they were both in the memory transfer study. Drew discovered he had a teenage son by Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) shortly after Jason arrived back in Port Charles and she mistook him for Drew at a Thanksgiving dinner at the Corinthos home.

Oscar Nero, who changed his name to Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) shortly before his death in May 2019 from a brain tumor brought Kim and Drew closer together as his parents but there was no revived romantic relationship between them.

General Hospital Spoilers – Some More Of Drew’s Past Is Now Being Revealed

Currently, GH seems to be wrapping up Drew’s story with more of his past being revealed through the memories of Hank “Shiloh” Archer, an evil cult leader who has a past with Drew when in Afghanistan. Prior to being kidnapped by Faison, Drew was getting ready to turn Shiloh, whose life he saved, in for treason against the United States; he and another Seal, Tex (uncast character) were selling fuel from United States Navy installations to enemy insurgents for a profit. Drew saved Shiloh from an explosion of an IED, or Improvised Explosive Device (like a pipe bomb) but was unable to save Tex.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Drew Cain Be Recast?

It is currently unknown how Drew will exit the GH canvas, but current storylines seem to indicate his past will be revealed; there has been no word on whether the character’s exit will be permanent, or open-ended, meaning a recast is possible when Billy Miller leaves.

Stay tuned to GH and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!

GH Writers … don’t you dare allow a recast that would give a new guy some great story line to bring Drew back. Fans have been begging for Billy’s Drew character to have a super story line, but “NO”, you just kept giving them to others, some of which were boring duds by the way. When you brought Steve Burton back to GH, you wrote the death sentence for Billy’s character and Burton’s return has been SOOOOO boring. Kelly’s Sam character has become SOOOOO boring, too, in conjunction with the boring Jason-Sam non-chemistry reunion which also received the death sentence. I won’t argue with the Jasam fans about any of this … I just want it clearly understood how saddened I am about Billy Miller’s leaving. I wish Billy only the best of life’s offerings and will miss him and his good acting terribly.

Yes, his story line never revealed his past, would like for him to stay to reveal his past, than recast him.

What I read you keep Billy Miller but if he’s want to leave we need to recast cause we got to have Drew so please re-cast

I have so loved this character and will be very sad to see Billy go. He has such a warm, caring and positive attitude and was such a great addition to the show. I will absolutely miss him.

Okay first, let’s clear something up. Steve didn’t leave GH because he was busy at Y&R. And to answer the question Sadly no I wouldn’t miss the actor Billy. He had so much potential. I wish he had done his homework on the character Jason Morgan and taken the time to understand the character but unfortunately he wanted to change the iconic Character into someone new that not everyone liked which led to ABC asking Steve to come back and play Jason Morgan and Billy playing the character he’s been playing who is new. He got what he wanted. Billy showed that he wasn’t interested in doing his job slouching in scenes, not fully there or like he just didn’t care. As a long time fan I’m disappointed because he could’ve done better than what he’s been giving. He’s a 3x DayTime Emmy winner and gave no Emmy worthy scenes in either role he played on GH in his past 3 or so years. I wish Billy Miller the absolute best and hope he finds something that makes him happy and that he achieve his dreams wherever he goes.
