General Hospital Spoilers: Billy Miller Out - Did He Quit Or Was He Fired?General Hospital [GH] spoilers bring us the sad news. Billy Miller [ex-Jason Morgan, ex-Drew Cain] officially said goodbye to fans with a handwritten letter.

The statement reads:

Hello Friends,

With a slight air of sadness, it is time to ponder what “Goodbye” means. However, instead of dwelling on what is gone and sure to be missed, there is another way. Maybe our goodbye is really a remembrance of love felt, an appreciation for lives shared, and the lifelong reminisces that come from embraces and received. Maybe our goodbye is an earnest hope for the brightest path forward for us all. Now, instead of sadness, I am filled with gratitude for all your support, encouragement, and every emotion shared. I cherish the journey we have taken together. Thank you for allowing me into your home and lives. With every ounce of myself, I thank you for being you. Hallmark Channel News: General Hospital’s Ryan Paevey Stars In Another New Movie

The actor joined the cast of General Hospital in 2014, taking over the role of Jason Morgan, previously held by former The Young and the Restless co-star Steve Burton [ex-Dylan McAvoy]. When Burton returned to GH in 2017, producers and scribes needed to make room for both actors, and the character Drew Cain, the twin brother Jason Morgan, aka Jason Quartermaine, was created. A memory swap storyline was written to explain Drew and Jason’s presence in Port Charles.

General Hospital spoilers revealed Jason and Drew have banded together to build the treehouse Drew’s late son Oscar requested. The role has run its course and Billy Miller last airdate will be Monday, August 26.

The actor won’t be idle for long as he movies into primetime television. The Daytime Emmy winner’s next role will be on the crime drama Truth Be Told as Alex Dunn alongside Emmy winner Aaron Paul and Oscar winner Octavia Spencer.

The Young and the Restless spoilers have not yet addressed a possible return to the role of Billy Abbott. If General Hospital were to revive the role of Dr. Patrick Drake, it’s a possibility Jason Thompson, currently Billy Abbott on Y&R, would return to Port Charles.

GH spoilers and Y&R spoilers leave viewers of both daytime drama’s heads spinning. There are so many changes that could happen as the soaps play musical characters.

Was Billy Miller fired because his storyline came to an end or to make room for a return by Jason Thompson? Or, did Miller quit the ABC daytime drama to follow former co-star Michelle Stafford [ex-Nina Reeves, GH] back to The Young and the Restless where Michelle has reprised her role as Phyllis Summers.
