All My Children (AMC) alum, actress Eva LaRue, is set to join the show playing Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mom. The character’s name is Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, and LaRue’s GH debut will take place on Monday, February 26th.

GH spoilers hint that while Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Blaze have a cute budding romance, there’s a downside to all of this as the singing sensation has yet to come out of the closet.

Natalia’s visit will likely catch Blaze off guard. While she probably has a good relationship with her mom, the fact that she hasn’t told her about being gay will have Blaze walking on eggshells from the moment her mother steps into town.

If Blaze was edgy in public with Kristina during the holidays with no family members in town, that feeling will increase by 100-fold with her mom around.

Plus, the very idea that Kristina may have to outright lie to the woman’s face about her intentions with Blaze will probably create massive drama between the two ladies and place a wedge in the romance.
