General Hospital Spoilers – The Part Being Cast Is For A Parole Hearing Commissioner

General Hospital’s timeline from scene shoot to airdate is generally around six to eight weeks, and they are likely still auditioning for the part of the parole hearing commissioner, whose last name will be Whitlock. The General Hospital audition script takes place in a hearing room before the parole board, with Brad, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) present. There is also a name “Selina” and a Pentonville prison guard and parole board panelists mentioned in the script. “Selina” may be the name of someone representing Brad such as a parolee’s advocate.

The first scene has Commissioner Whitlock addressing Brad. The hearing commissioner states to inmate Cooper that the parole board panel has reviewed the parole hearing report, a risk assessment, and there are letters they have received of both support for Brad to be paroled, but also letters of opposition. The commissioner then states that Brad’s criminal history, history of drug or alcohol abuse and behavior while incarcerated will be heard.

General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos And Willow Tait Are There To Make A Victim Impact Statement

Next in the General Hospital script, Commissioner Whitlock states that first a victim impact statement will be heard from Michael, Willow squeezes his hand and he stands up. Michael begins to address the parole board. Then the General Hospital script skips over to the commissioner’s final statement and he tells Brad that an expedited decision on his parole was requested. Commissioner Whitlock then tells Brad that the panel will deliberate and let him know of their decision at the earliest opportunity. He thanks Michael for his statement and adjourns the hearing.

Viewers can guess that considering Brad kept Wiley Corinthos’ (Caleb and Kyler Ends) identity a secret, colluding with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) for nearly eighteen months that Michael will speak against Brad’s parole. The last time Brad Cooper and his portrayer appeared on General Hospital was July 2, 2021 when Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) visited him in prison. She was brokenhearted over Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) dumping her for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and he mentioned his parole was coming up at that time.

GH Spoilers – Brad Cooper Swapped Willow Tait’s Dead Baby For Nelle Benson’s Live One

General Hospital viewers will recall that Brad swapped Willow’s dead baby with Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) with Nelle and Michael’s live one. General Hospital viewers will remember that Brad and his then husband Lucas Jones (at that time Ryan Carnes) had adopted a newborn, who turned out to be Willow’s baby. They had picked him up and named him Wiley Cooper-Jones. Sadly, the original Wiley passed away of sudden infant death syndrome while Lucas was pulling a shift at General Hospital, and Brad panicked because it was so hard to get approved, and he didn’t know what to do.

He bundled up the dead baby and went driving in the country, where he came across his friend Nelle, who had just given birth to Michael and her baby, who she had named Jonah Corinthos (at that time played by Theo and Erik Olson). Nelle gave Brad her baby and she took his, and Michael grieved Jonah for months, while becoming close to Willow. After the secret came out, Brad went to prison and has been there ever since.
