General Hospital Spoilers: Brad’s Return Could Doom Lucas—or Save Him From Heartbreak

General Hospital spoilers leak Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is back in town, and we’re left to question whether he’s here to stir the pot, or let it boil over.

The last time we saw Brad, he was headed out of town on the heels of getting the boot — again — from Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).

As hard as Brad tried to be an improved version of the man Lucas once proudly called his husband, he just couldn’t measure up to his ex-hubs’ standards.

Will that change now that Lucas has clearly lowered the bar on what he expects from a partner? Probably not, but the good doc could see Brad in a new light if he plays his cards right in shining that spotlight on what Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) is doing wrong.

Lucas is Unlucky in Love

Lucas and Brad crashed and burned in one of the most historic break-ups in Port Charles history. When Brad took it upon himself to hide the truth about their adopted child dying of SIDS and replacing the baby with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), that was a bridge too far for Lucas.

Ducking out of town himself for a few years to heal, he is back and living his best life — and he might be worried that Brad’s return could cramp his style. He’d be right, but it may not be what we’re all expecting either.

Britt and Brad Reunite

Brad’s typical position when it comes to Lucas dating anyone is to hate that person. Jealous? Certainly, and no one understands him better than his former partner in crime and bestie, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

With both of them back in Port Chuck at the same time — and Britt essentially on her way back to being a doctor at the hospital, we might be able to expect late nights at the lab gushing over Lucas and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with a few pints of Ben & Jerry’s.

But what we should expect even more is for Britt to fill Brad — her trusted confidante — in one what she’s been up to in Croatia and back on American soil.

Revenge, or Reform?

If Brad gets wind from Britt that Marco is anything but genuine, how will he use that intel to blow up Lucas’ current lovelife?

We already know Marco is far from an innocent bystander to his father’s penchant for violence. His cold fusion games have brought blackmail, extortion, and murder into the mix.

There’s no way Lucas would be down with any of that, but Marco has covered his tracks well, the way you’d expect the son of Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to do.

So how will Brad expose Marco’s complicit crimes without looking like the jealous ex? We’ve yet to see him pull off moves with such integrity. Here’s to hoping! Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers right here, every day.
