Their baby was deprived of oxygen for too long during Sasha’s placental abruption for little Liam to survive. He was already brain dead when he was delivered by caesarian section, but the cooling technique everyone hoped would work did not. General Hospital viewers will recall Brando and Sasha had to make the heartbreaking decision to take Liam off of life support. Sasha has tried very hard to stay strong, but she continues to blame herself, and soon she will begin to spiral downwards!

GH Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore Has A History Of Drug Use

General Hospital viewers will recall that Sasha and Brando’s relationship began when he was Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) driver. This was kind of an undercover job he was doing for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) at the time. General Hospital viewers will recall Cyrus was trying to take over Sonny’s territory and run drugs through it, the one criminal activity that Sonny will never sanction! Sasha had gotten hooked on some of Cyrus’ drugs as a way of coping with pressure, and she had overdosed from a drug Cyrus had given her. The drug had also caused a heart attack when Brando saved her life!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore Spirals And Insists She Knows Best How To Cope With Her Grief

As Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) tries to comfort her son Brando in his grief, Sasha will start to spiral! General Hospital viewers can imagine that she might turn back to drugs in order to cope with her grief. It’s a good bet that if Brando or others in the family are aware of it, they will try to nip Sasha’s renewed drug habit in the bud! But Sasha will insist that she knows best how to cope with her grief and turn away from them as they reach out! General Hospital viewers know that is a classic sign of drug abuse, when people turn their family and friends away trying to cope.

GH Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore’s Family And Friends May Need To Do An Intervention

General Hospital viewers can expect that Sasha’s family and friends may need to do an intervention as she continues to spiral downward! Sasha is likely to develop a very devastating case of postpartum depression as she continues to blame herself for Liam’s death. General Hospital viewers will see Sasha’s family and friends including the Corinthos family, who are dealing with their own problems, reach out to Sasha. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) in particular will reach out of her own grief and do what needs to be done even if Sasha resists! All who have been supporting Brando and Sasha will gather around them and do what is necessary to save Sasha from herself and her downward spiral!

General Hospital Spoilers – Would Carly Corinthos Even Do A Judicial Commitment?

Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember when Carly gave birth to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) she was so depressed she couldn’t care for him. Michael had a congenital heart defect and Carly blamed herself and couldn’t even touch him – and left town. Even though as General Hospital viewers know, Carly has been put in psychiatric facilities from time to time, it wouldn’t be her first choice to help Sasha. However, with Sasha having no legal family members, Carly may step up and have Sasha committed to treatment to save her life. After all, if things had worked out differently, Sasha may have become her daughter in law!
