However, the test results confirm that baby Liam has no brain activity and will never open his eyes or breath on his own.

Esme Prince’s Evil Act

GH spoilers reveal that doctors have stated that there was nothing to predict or prevent Sasha’s delivery crisis. However, that’s because nobody knows about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) blocking the door so Sasha and Glady Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) couldn’t get out. They also had no cell service in the storage room, so there was no way to call for help.

Even though Brando saved Sasha, she was already in pain and her water broke. Even a few minutes could have made the difference between life and death – and Liam’s condition. So, Esme might not be responsible for Sasha’s pregnancy complication, but she is responsible for how long Liam went without oxygen.

When Sasha got to the hospital, she was told that it was necessary for her to have an emergency C-section. The baby was born and no crying was heard, so he was whisked away and put in the NICU. It is stated that the baby has never breathed on his own. As for Sasha, she passed out when she hemorrhaged. However, Sasha’s life was saved.

Doctors say that Liam has never breathed on his own and never will. Brando and Sasha are told that their baby will be in a permanent vegetative state.
