Jack has his reasons for his under the table offer, more than just because he’s dating her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
However grateful he may be for her not continuing to dose him when Willow had told her to, he has reasons other than that to make sure Willow’s crimes are not exposed.

For one thing, as Congresswoman Cain, Willow had made sure the WSB keeps its funding-but as with anything WSB, there’ll be a catch for Sidwell.
Most likely he’ll make the same offer to Sidwell as Z (John Oliver) made to Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey). He’ll have to work for the WSB, and though he’s broken out of jail, by no means will he be totally free!

Whether Sidwell will take Brennan up on his offer is a very good question-after all, after being partners for years with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) he knows how the WSB is!
Brennan may not be a double agent like Cullum, but they still have some strange ways of doing things-like, what was up about that black site in Jakarta where Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was in?

That seemed like cruel and unusual punishment, but then Jakarta isn’t the United States, either.
Knowing things not so savory about the WSB and how agents and informers are treated can’t help but influence Sidwell’s choice-if he was offered something like witness protection, then it might be a different story!
Just One More Secret For Sidwell To Use Should The Occasion Arise!
The only problem with Jack’s offer, is it gives just one more secret for Sidwell to use against him, should the occasion arise!
This offer gives Sidwell something to blackmail Jack with and keep him under control, should Sidwell need to-on the other hand, as long as he’s in jail, it does him no good!
The ideal situation for Sidwell would be to take the offer-and then escape while in transport, but Sidwell’s likely fresh out of henchmen!
However, considering Sidwell has businesses-legal and otherwise-all over the world, his partnerships don’t begin and end with the people he used to have!
Jack may think he’s in control of the situation if he breaks Sidwell out, but he might find himself with a bad surprise!
