Solver Number One-Josslyn Jacks
Even though Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is supposed to be investigating her father’s company, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) Enterprises from the inside, she’s on the case.
She is the one who reported his disappearance to the WSB, with Agent William Baines (Alimi Ballard) coming to likely take over the WSB Field Office in Brennan’s absence.

Josslyn picked up right away on the out of pattern behavior when Brennan didn’t debrief her nor call her, as well as getting only voicemail on his phone.
Josslyn may well find herself doing double duty, investigating the inside workings of JJE and its’ personnel, and investigating Brennan’s disappearance.
It will require WSB expertise to debug the virus that took down the security system and see if any residual clues may have gotten captured.
Solvers Number Two-And Three-Carly Spencer And Jason Morgan
For not being trained in either police or spy work, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has very good detective instincts-she questioned if Brennan had taken down the security cameras or if he was the reason.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saw right away that Brennan’s room had been compromised-and Carly saw whoever did it hadn’t covered their tracks after searching.
From that point, the conclusion was that whoever had searched for Brennan or something they thought was in his room went after him!
They were looking over the situation when Josslyn came in, and the definitive conclusion was that Brennan may have met with foul play.
Carly got to know Brennan well enough when they were dating for her to know his habits and likes and dislikes, and where he may have gone had he not been kidnapped or forced.
Solver Number Four-Valentin Cassadine
As odd as it may seem, the one who solves the mystery may be Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart); he and Jack were partners for many years until Jack threw him under the bus!
That’s probably how Jack got out of Pentonville and assigned to the WSB Field Office, after being at one time the national director, and Valentin became a fugitive.
Valentin knew Jack for much longer than Carly did, and he has spy experience-Valentin was in WSB spy school with Jack and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
However, he and Jason both would find out everything they need to solve Brennan’s disappearance if only Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) would come clean! That would be invaluable information for a murder investigation!
Solver Number Five-Sonny Corinthos
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may be put in the role of the “Fugitive” hunting for the “one-armed man”, if Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) frame him for the crime!
Even though at least as far as Ava was concerned, Brennan’s death was accidental, she drugged Brennan’s drink and Drew gave her the drug!
This whole tragic comedy of errors started as a way to keep Brennan occupied while Drew searched his Metro Court suite-which as Josslyn so astutely noted, was the last place Jack would keep secret things.
Drew told Ava that Brennan was an obstacle who needed to be removed, before he could help her take down Sonny.
Solver Number Five-Outback The Dog?
Last but not least, Outback the dog may not solve the “whodunit” part of Jack’s death, but she may well be the one to turn the case from a suspicious disappearance to a suspicious death!
She already found the shallow grave where Drew and Ava buried him on what used to be Quartermaine land, and looked like the Port Charles entrance to the catacombs was nearby.
If Charlotte had let her finish digging, she could have removed her bracelet from Brennan’s cuff and put it on, diverting suspicion from herself.
Then she would have only had to call either her father to handle the situation, or possibly Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) who was her stepfather when he and her mom were married.
It’s a tossup as to which agency will actually get the case, but since Jack was WSB then WSB will have to be involved, at the very least-or perhaps they and the PCPD will work together.
