Might Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) been playing dumb about why he was summoned, and recorded their meeting, in which Willow basically tried to blackmail him?
Brennan’s Not Always The Most Honest Either, But At Least It’s For Good Reasons!
Fans have to admit, Brennan’s not always the most honest either, but at least it’s for good reasons-or, at least what he thinks are good reasons!
He was the one who initiated the drone strikes that took out the Five Poppies and the Haunted Star off the coast of Greenland, ending Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plans-and Victor!
Too bad he missed Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) in Somalia, and wasn’t wise to Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) at the time.
Brennan protected her by pulling the traffic cam videos that placed her at the scene of the crime when Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot, but now that’s a moot point.

If he recorded the meeting he had with her, he’s got leverage, because blackmailing a federal agent, whether she’s over the WSB’s funding or not, is a federal crime!
Jack Can Edit His Recording To Remove The Unfavorable Parts, With It Not Being Detected
You know, if Jack can remove the traffic cam video from the PCPD systems and put it back, he can certainly edit out the unfavorable parts of the recording of his meeting.
Using the WSB’s technology, he can make it undetectable, but the question is, can this recording be used in court, or to bring the corrupt Congresswoman to justice?
Brennan could get a warrant and then change the date on the recording if it becomes necessary, after all, he doesn’t want to break the deal with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Of course, neither Brennan nor Willow know that Nina is now secretly working with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to take Brennan himself down!
Handling Willow May Become More Crucial Than Bringing Down Valentin!
Handling Willow may become more crucial than bringing down Valentin, considering the threats she poses to the WSB, because her cutting off their funding would be disastrous.
And it’s like a game of chess with deadly stakes to know the right move to make, and when-Jack has to consider the greater good, just like when he destroyed Victor. Sometimes knowing where all the bodies are buried can be a useful tool, when used the right way and the right time.
But “leverage”, also known as blackmail, can be disastrous if it goes the wrong way. And that’s what Jack is facing, as he makes the decision he eventually will be forced to make!
