General Hospital Spoilers: Britt And Dex Get Off On The Wrong Foot!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) fell fast and hard for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). But their romance was not meant to be. First, Jason and Carly Corinthos had to get married in order to save Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) business from the other mob families during the time Sonny was believed to be dead.

Britt and Jason had just started a relationship on General Hospital when Jason basically abandoned her for Carly. Britt was naturally hurt by Jason’s marriage plans and basically told him that she wanted nothing more to do with him.

General Hospital spoilers show Sonny eventually returned which nullified Carly and Jason’s marriage, even though they had decided that they were going to have a real marriage. Jason backed away from Carly as a show of respect for Sonny. When Britt’s mother, Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) was kidnapped, Jason convinced Britt to let him help her with the rescue mission which led them to Greece.

GH Spoilers – Britt Westbourne And Jason Morgan Would Likely Have Reconciled!

Britt and Jason would likely have reconciled and seemed to be getting close again during their time together in Greece. Unfortunately, GH spoilers reveal Jason was killed in Greece and though they weren’t together at the time, Britt still took Jason’s death hard. Although they were no longer together, Britt still loved Jason when he was killed!

General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Has Recently Joined A Matchmaking Service!

Britt has finally decided to join a matchmaking service on General Hospital, mostly to appease her mother. Leisl was quite concerned that Britt dove into work and had seemingly given up on having a personal life at all, much less a romance. But Britt is obviously lonely, despite her protests that she doesn’t need a man to be fulfilled. Part of her hesitation is due to her Huntington’s Disease diagnosis. There is no cure for Huntingon’s and it will eventually kill her. Britt has no idea how long she has to live so that has kept her from getting close to anyone as well. But the arrival of the mysterious Dex (Evan Hofer), Britt may cause Britt to reconsider.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos May Choose Dex As His New Enforcer!

Dex recently filled in for Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) at Volonino’s while Chet was overseas. Chet informed Sonny that Dex had done a great job filling in. Dex made it clear that he enjoyed working for Sonny. Sonny initially didn’t think he had a place for Dex but once he witnessed how Dex handled an altercation in the boxing ring. Sonny told Dex to come to his office and judging by Sonny’s line of questions, he might be considering Dex as his new enforcer. If that’s the case, look for Britt to keep her distance from the newcomer, despite their attraction. Britt may even initially resent Dex for taking Jason’s place. But eventually, look for these two to possibly be the next big love story in Port Charles.
