General Hospital spoilers tease that in this week’s General Hospital Sneak Peek, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) toast to being alone, single, or whatever!

General Hospital Spoilers – Jasper “Jax” Jacks And Britt Westbourne Meet Up In Charlie’s Pub And Talk About Recent Events

General Hospital viewers will recall that both Jax and Britt were blindsided when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) announced their engagement. General Hospital viewers know that their marriage is one of convenience, and it is a business arrangement, but for some of their loved ones and close friends, it is anything but convenient! Jax was blindsided and Britt was brokenhearted when Jason had to break up with her romantically because of the marriage to Carly, even if it likely never will be consummated. Jax was blindsided because he knows that the “marriage” is only for optics and shows that Carly is still way more involved in the mob than she should be, and thus puts their daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in danger, not to mention the younger children!

The Corinthos compound is pretty secure, however the Novaks could easily find it and blow it to pieces like they did the warehouse on Pier 55 in a recent episode of General Hospital! Britt and Jax both happen to be getting a drink at the bar in Charlie’s Pub, and sit down and start having a conversation. Britt and Jax don’t know each other all that well but they certainly know who each other is, and now they have exes in common, Jason and Carly respectively. The scene picks up with Britt, having had a few drinks, opening up to Jax about her and Jason’s relationship on the run. Jax asks for clarification, wanting to know if she and Jason – implying intimacy between them – and Britt finishes the sentence. She reasons to Jax what else was there to do in a lighthouse? Jax tells her that’s a little too much information, and takes a large swig of his drink himself!

General Hospital viewers will recall that Britt really thought she’d found her soulmate in Jason. She tells Jax that she has to admit, concerning Jason, that a guy who doesn’t seem very expressive helped her through a very difficult time. Britt continues, telling Jax that she thought that she and Jason were – and stumbles on her words a bit. She picks up, and continues she thought they were, implying very serious, and then he proposed marriage to Carly, and c’est la vie!

Jax understands, and advises Britt not to take all that too seriously. Jax, as longtime General Hospital viewers will recall, is an expert at Jason and Carly taking precedence over Jax and Carly! Jax continues, telling Britt how Jason and Carly’s first loyalties have always been to each other, and to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) of course. Jax tells Britt how now that Sonny’s “gone”, it is just Carly and Jason. Britt shakes her head, sighs, and says she guesses she is better off staying single. Jax tells her truer words were never spoken, and raises a toast to being alone – or single – or whatever! Of course, how long that business relationship slash marriage will last once Sonny is revealed to be alive is anyone’s guess!
