General Hospital Spoilers: Britt Confesses Nathan Truth To Obrecht, Admits Cassius Twin Shocker?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that when Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) returns to town, she may pick up on some red flags she missed before.

Obrecht quickly latched onto the idea that her beloved Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) had come back to her, but she may have some reasons to doubt that soon.

Of course, we can’t blame Liesl for wanting to believe Nathan had returned from the grave. Grieving Nathan was unbelievably painful, so it’s easy to see what Obrecht would want to buy this whole Nathan return story.

However, GH fans know Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) has been pretending to be Nathan for months. Cassius took over Nathan’s old life, so he’s been secretly serving as Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) inside man at the PCPD.

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is aware of Cassius’ deception, so she’s been lying right along with him. The fact that Cassius is tricking the people who loved Nathan obviously doesn’t sit right with Britt.

That’s why Britt could be motivated to come clean to someone in the not-too-distant future. Britt mentioned how difficult it’s been to watch Cassius lie to Liesl, so there may come a point when she tells Obrecht the real story.

If Liesl starts to notice that “Nathan” isn’t really acting like Nathan anymore, that could set the stage for Britt’s confession.

Cassius already slipped up by flying off the handle at Obrecht one day. Liesl could face more outbursts and notice some other warning signs as well.

Once Obrecht catches on and determines that things may not be quite as they seem, she might confront Britt and wonder what’s going on.

Britt might break down and confess that Cassius is Nathan’s twin brother, but that could leave Liesl insisting it’s not possible.

There’s a good chance Obrecht was led to believe Cassius died at birth, so Britt may have to explain how he survived and ultimately started posing as Nathan.

Britt might plead with Liesl to keep playing along for now since there’s so much at stake. By then, Britt might know about Cassius covering for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and could perhaps use that situation to convince Obrecht to keep quiet.

If Cassius goes down, he could be vengeful enough to take Rocco with him. Plus, Britt would pay a fatal price if Cullum and Sidwell blamed her for exposing their main police informant at the PCPD.

Cassius’ life is at stake too, so Obrecht may keep quiet despite her anger over him posing as Nathan. This is still Liesl’s child, so she might find herself drawn to Cassius no matter what he’s done.
