General Hospital Spoilers: Britt Never Had Huntington’s Disease – It Was ALL A CON?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that February Sweeps has swept into PC with a blizzard and a torrent of action in Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) storyline, including her Huntington’s disease.

Does anyone really buy that this whimpering version of Britt is The Britch we all knew and loathed? Minute by minute, GH fans are becoming more and more convinced that something is very off in her story.

Ever since Britt came back from the dead she has not been her acidic self and we think there could be a very valid reason for that.

Could it be that Britt never had Huntington’s and now her lie is unraveling in real time? Definitely maybe! Let’s dive deep into the clues that point to her pulling the con of the century in PC.

Britt Never Thought She Would Get Caught

First of all, let’s make it clear that Britt’s situation is exceptionally twisted. Think about why she is back in PC: because Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) found her at the Five Poppies resort overseas.

If we are correct in our theory, Britt never intended to come back—not from the dead and certainly not to PC. If not for Jason, Britt would still be dead and forgotten.  Instead, she was forced to reappear because Jason would not take no for an answer.

Britt Didn’t Replicate Her Meds

Let’s take this theory a step further: how ludicrous is it that Britt, an M.D., never had her black-market Huntington’s meds duplicated? That makes zero sense.

Yes, in the February 3 GH episode we saw sleazy Ross Cullum inject her with something. But we have no idea what was in the syringe.

The contents could have been any number of things, even a life-saving treatment of some sort, but there is no PROOF that it is an anti-Huntington’s medication. We are just assuming it is.

Britt’s Version of the Truth

Let’s get back to the version of the truth Britt told Jason, that Cullum and Sidwell faked her death and gave her medication to put her Huntington’s into remission in return for completing Cesar Faison’s final project.

It’s just as valid to think that Britt and her father Faison were working on a project and somehow, somewhere, Cullum and Sidwell forced their way into the equation.

Britt being poked by Heather Webber’s (Ally Mills) poison poker could have been a stroke of unintended genius that Britt capitalized on, and here we are.

Tell us GH fans, do you think that way back when Britt and Faison initially concocted the whole Huntington’s diagnosis as an excuse to have her disappear and work in secret on his final project?
