General Hospital Spoilers: Britt Turns To Jason, Terrified That Cyrus Renault Will Kill Her

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) didn’t expect to be involved in the mob war between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) when she took over the Chief of Staff position at General Hospital at Cyrus’ request. As far as Britt knew, Cyrus was exonerated off all drug charges against him. It may have been unusually naïve of her, but it wasn’t long before Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) started planting the seeds of doubt in Cyrus’ true intentions.

When Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) best friend Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) was admitted to General Hospital after being attacked by Cyrus’ men, she called Jason to arrange protection for Brad in exchange for giving Julian Jerome (William DeVry) up for his part in the baby swap scheme that kept Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) away from his son for over a year.

It wasn’t long before they figured out that Julian planted the bomb at the Floating Rib on Cyrus’ behalf. After Julian turned up dead, Britt confronted Jason and demanded to know if Julian’s death was on her hands. Jason convinced her that it was Cyrus (Jeff Kober) who is responsible for what happened to Julian.

Recently, Cyrus informed Britt about a new painkiller that he had developed at General Hospital. Britt was concerned that Cyrus wanted the hospital to push this new drug, especially if Cyrus was making a profit from it. She let him know, that it could be considered unethical. Seeing for herself that Cyrus is suspect, she informed Jason about the new drug. But even as she did, she became visibly shaken.

Now that her eyes have been opened to Cyrus’ true behavior, and she has given Jason information about Cyrus’ plans, Britt is worried for her own safety. He’s already tried to kill Brad, so she is well aware of what he is capable of. Will Britt be able to keep her cool around Cyrus so that he doesn’t find out what she told Jason? After Jason left, Britt’s hands were shaking, so it isn’t going to be easy for her to hide her fear. Will Cyrus realize that Britt is talking to Jason?
