General Hospital Spoilers: Britt’s Breakup With Jason Backfires On Cullum In A Major Way

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will dump Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with shocking results.

Britt’s disappearance attempt won’t turn out like WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) wants, so here’s what viewers can expect.

Cullum is getting impatient when it comes to Britt’s role in the project she was roped into. That’s why Cullum is willing to take more risks and make sure Britt gets the ball rolling on the next phase of her work.

Based on Cullum’s dialogue in GH’s January 21 episode, he wants Britt to vanish from her life and hole up at Wyndemere. Cullum is counting on Britt to get the project online in three months and knows the only way that’ll happen is if there are no distractions.

Of course, Jason has become one of those distractions for Britt, so Cullum isn’t happy about that. Between Britt losing focus and the way Jason stirred up trouble at the Five Poppies Resort, Cullum has good reasons to want Jason out of the picture.

That’s why Cullum is willing to deal with Jason himself unless Britt pushes him away. Cullum could go as far as sending Jason to an early grave, so Britt will indeed attempt to cut Jason loose in the coming episodes.

Britt might pretend she’s had a change of heart about being with Jason and argue that things are never going to work between them. It looks like Britt will cancel their second date and perhaps insist it was a mistake to even go on the first one.

Britt’s sudden about-face may leave Jason weirded out and convinced that something else is going on. Jason will want Britt to spill what she’s really up against, but she may be wary of divulging the truth and putting him in more danger.

If Britt struggles with all this, she might even try to leave a note instead of breaking things off in person. Regardless, Jason should soon find out that Britt’s ending their budding romance.

Britt may also provide a bogus story to explain why she’ll suddenly be vanishing from her life again.

Jason won’t think any of this makes sense and will certainly do some digging. That could lead Jason straight to Cullum and turn them into fierce foes.
