General Hospital Spoilers: Britt’s Sudden Departure – Why Did She Leave?

General Hospital; Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud}General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud} left Port Charles extremely quickly. Her departure is odd because she was just getting to know her half-brother, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and she seemed determined to be there for Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) as he awaits trial for his role in the baby swap. She even took a temporary gig at General Hospital, as Kim Nero’s (Tamara Brown) replacement.

General Hospital Spoilers – So Why Did Britt Westbourne Take Off So Fast?

It sure seemed like Britt planned to stay around at least for a little while, so what could have prompted her exit. It may be a simple as General Hospital found a permanent replacement for Kim much sooner than expected. Britt did say she was there temporarily, but it seemed as though she was going to be around for more than one or two days! Perhaps his role in Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) life in recent days holds the key to her quick getaway?

GH Spoilers – Is She Pregnant With Julian’s Baby?

Britt and Julian hit the sheets at least twice. It was always meant to be just a casual thing, but after Julian’s public attack on Neil Byrne (Joe Flannigan) at the hospital, Britt let Julian have it and let him know that their fling was over. But what if Britt became pregnant during one of her and Julian’s casual encounters. If she plans to keep and raise the baby, she may want to leave Julian, a former mobster out of it entirely. Or perhaps she just got scared and ran because she isn’t sure she wants to be a mother. After all, her relationship with her own mother, Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati), has never been all that loving.

General Hospital Spoilers – Britt Westbourne Has A Complicated Relationship With Her Own Mother

One of the reasons Britt came back to town was because her mother had been arrested for several serious crimes, including the murder of Drew Cain (Billy Miller), and the attempted murders of Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Britt claimed that she didn’t believe her mother was innocent, but perhaps she found some sort of proof that Peter was actually guilty, and ran off because she’s afraid for her life! This is not likely the case, but it would certainly explain a quick exit!

What do you think?

I love britt. I was glad she returned. Only to have her leave with no goodbyes. They could have congratulated her on the new job.

I hope that Britt comes back. She had just gotten into at least a long term fling with Julian which was fun. She had gotten her job back. She confronted Nikolas about Spencer. It looked like Britt and Peter were going to get to know each other a bit better. Liesl has been framed by Peter and has been sent away for now. However Liesl will come back and she and Britt need to reunite. I am sure that somehow Peter can make it up to them in the end. Brad is still in trouble and needs Britt who is his best friend.
