General Hospital Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine Wasn’t Just Leaving For Clarification
When General Hospital’s Brook Lynn decided to leave town, she told Ned she needs to get some clarity. However, clarity wasn’t the only reason she needed to get out of town Brook Lynn made sure to say goodbye to everyone important to her. Although Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) suspected she was pregnant, she never said anything before leaving town. There could be several reasons for Brook staying quiet but Valentin being the father is the number one reason she would have. The timing of Brook Lynn’s pregnancy would be a red flag to Valentin if it was to immediately come to light. However, leaving town not only buys her time but gives her an opportunity for a cover story.
GH Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Hates Valentin Cassadine
General Hospital’s Ned (Wally Kurth) hates Valentin. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) managed to take ELQ from the Quartermaine’s by buying up stock from several Quartermaine family members. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) warned Ned of this danger months before it happened. However, Ned was too consumed with keeping the CEO’s job than he was protecting the company from a known takeover attempt. Ned may hate Valentin but at the moment, he hates himself more. That doesn’t mean that he won’t go off on Brook Lynn for being careless enough to get pregnant by Valentin. Ned already blames Brook for losing ELQ, a baby would tie Valentin to the family permanently and that would be a disaster in his eyes.
General Hospital Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine Was Living With Harrison Chase
General Hospital’s Brook Lynn has been living with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Brook Lynn may feel the need to tell Valentin about the baby, or Chase could claim the child. If Chase doesn’t get back with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), he may be willing to claim this baby to protect it from Valentin. Valentin will certainly wonder if the baby is his but isn’t likely to call Brook Lynn a liar if she says it belongs to Chase.
The truth is, no matter how Ned handles this, it is probably going to be bad. Ned has his expectations of how Brook Lynn should act as a Quartermaine and sleeping with Valentin doesn’t fit into that image. Ned has never been subtle when giving his opinions to Brook about her actions, and he isn’t about to start now. Ned will undoubtedly cause another rift between himself and Brook Lynn and that damage may not be able to be repaired this time.
