General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may see a chance to rekindle Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) affections for him. GH Viewers may recall that Nikolas recently learned that Elizabeth is worried about her son Cameron Webber (William Lipton). GH Viewers know that not long ago, Nikolas headed over to Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) art studio along with his “sort of” wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West). Everybody knows Ava is still having her portrait painted by Franco. Apparently, Nikolas decided he would stick around and watch. Of course, everyone knows that this wasn’t a decision made to just be nice and keep Ava company. No, Nikolas simply wanted to annoy Ava and Franco because well, Nikolas can be a jerk sometimes.

Franco too was annoyed with Nikolas but decided to go ahead and begin the painting session anyway. During the course of slightly bickering banter, Franco let slip that Elizabeth is in emotional distress over her son, Cameron. Elizabeth believes that Cameron has been bottling up his emotions and maybe far more damaged emotionally than he is letting on.

As GH fans may recall, when Nikolas heard this, he seemed to lose all interest in goading Franco and Ava. In fact, he stood up practically immediately and headed for the door. Some might also remember knowing little smirk that appeared on Ava’s face as he did so.

GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Might Want Elizabeth Webber Back

Those who have watched General Hospital a long time know that Nikolas used to have a thing for Elizabeth. In fact, Nikolas and Elizabeth have known each other since they were teens. Elizabeth found herself in an affair with Nikolas, but it didn’t last long. Even so, Nikolas and Elizabeth held on to the strong feelings they had for one another over the years. While both Nikolas and Elizabeth have found themselves with different people over the years, the two continued to have their own, unique connection.

That changed somewhat when Elizabeth became furious with Nikolas and began to hold a grudge. This was due to the mental and emotional damage Nikolas caused his own son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel). GH fans may remember that Nikolas pretended to be dead for over three years, and then basically showed up with Ava at Spencer’s school and was all like, “Hey! Just kidding. I’m not really dead. I know you grieved for a long time, but we’re good. Right?”

General Hospital Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber Needs Support

Whether or not Nikolas can slither back and reclaim some small part of the connection he and Elizabeth once shared may depend a great deal on how desperate she feels. Does Elizabeth have the support she needs? Can Elizabeth lean on Franco?

Some may recall that Elizabeth and Franco are experiencing money problems right now. As everyone knows, unresolved financial issues can cause a great deal of stress, or even lead to divorce. Moreover, Franco has been flipping out over their money issues and viewers may soon see him distancing himself from Elizabeth if he feels he can’t provide.

GH fans may now ask themselves if, together with the issues mentioned above, and with Elizabeth’s fears for Cameron, the stars may have aligned for a Nikolas-Elizabeth reunion.
