GH spoilers reveal that Chase makes a deathbed marriage proposal. During his poisoning storyline, Willow has been deceiving him. She can tell herself that she’s protecting Chase by lying to him about how she really feels. However, it’s not easier for him… it’s earlier for her. It alleviates her own guilt of breaking his heart while he’s on his deathbed. The last thing she ever expected was for Chase to propose marriage, but that’s exactly what happens.

Willow ends up agreeing to Chase’s marriage proposal. Chase tells the news to Finn, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). As everyone talks about the impending nuptials, Willow knows that there is one person that she needs to talk to about this, which is Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

General Hospital spoilers reveal that MacMullen spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the storyline. The actress teased that Willow feels sick about the entire thing. She even considers telling Chase the truth but ends up going along with the marriage because it’s his dying wish.

“I think Willow is probably weighing her choices: ‘Do I tell him right now I’m in love with Michael, do I nip this in the bud and tell him as he’s proposing, or do I just make his final days happy?’”

GH Spoilers – MacMullen added,

“She feels a little sick to her stomach. Not in a grossed-out way, but in a ‘Oh my gosh, this is one big lie! What am I doing?’ way. She’s made her decision to do what she thinks is best for him right now, but there’s that second-guessing feeling…”

General Hospital Spoilers – Blurting Out Truth

Could this second-guessing end up causing Willow to blurt out the truth during the actual wedding ceremony? The truth has to come out eventually and soaps tend to do it at the worst possible moment.

One thing that could put a dent in Chase’s plans is if Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), Michael, or even Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) ends up telling Chase the truth. Even though Carly doesn’t know the truth yet, she will at some point. She’s already questioning Jax on how he got Michael to agree to give Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) visitation.
