And of course, the two that they love the most happen to be Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), who are two women that are determined to take down Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) once and for all. According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, a battle royale is gearing up as both Carly and Laura catch up to Nikolas at the safe house. He wants to liberate Florence and return her to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in the hopes that he can protect Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) while she’s in Pentonville.

General Hospital spoilers say that both Laura and Carly face an uphill battle as they try to dissuade Nikolas. As a matter of fact, it’s Laura who attacks his character the most. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Marcus Coloma, who plays Nikolas on the hit ABC soap, puts it this way, “There’s that baggage of the personal weight between a mother and a son there that makes it hard for Nikolas to listen to his parent, even though she might be right.”

But on the other hand, Nikolas doesn’t want anything bad to happen to Alexis. Yet, Carly also plays her case to Nikolas. He is aware that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is gone and that she’s a grieving widow. While her passionate plea does affect him, Nikolas is not the kind of person who will sway from his path.

Whatever Nikolas decides to do, he is prepared to handle the fallout. Now, what he decides to do remains to be seen. Marcus adds, “Nikolas is very smart. He has more than a few cards up his sleeve.”
