General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Laura Wright, Maurice Benard) will be having a family celebration and a re-commitment of their love for each other in Monday, August 26th’s episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos And Carly Corinthos Have Been Thinking About How Short Life Can Be

It’s obvious that Sonny and Carly have been thinking in recent months about how short life can be, and how no one is really promised tomorrow. Nearly four months ago, they witnessed Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) grieve the death of her first serious boyfriend, the one she fell in love with and assumed she herself would marry someday, Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt).

Then they found out their new baby could have a serious birth defect, spina bifida, but do not yet know exactly how serious it will be – that will be ascertained in the next ultrasound. Then, when Sonny had to pinch-hit as preacher and perform his dad Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) pseudo-wedding ceremony to Yvonne Godfrey (Janet Hubert) at Turning Woods Memory Care Facility when Mike didn’t know who Sonny was, things really sunk in, and Sonny and Carly decided to recommit to each other in in a marriage vows renewal ceremony! This is not the first time Sonny and Carly had a vow renewal ceremony, their last one was in 2001.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos And Carly Corinthos Have Been Remarried A Total Of Three Previous Times Now

Sonny and Carly have been together, on and off, since 1998! They have been married three times and divorced three times, and their current marriage is their fourth marriage. The marriages in 2001 and 2007 were mainly so Carly didn’t have to testify against Sonny in court, and their most recent marriage started in 2014 after being divorced for seven years.

They count their 2001 vow renewal as a marriage and say they’ve really been married five times, and this vow renewal will make their sixth, if they follow their pattern of calling vow renewals separate marriages! In between and before their marriages to one another, Sonny was married to Lily Rivera (Lily Melgar), Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) and Claudia Zacchara (Sarah Brown) and had affairs with several women including Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

They gave him their daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) who gave him their daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Avery and Grace Scarola), plus he was engaged to Kate Howard, also known as Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan). Carly’s exes include AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan), Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) father, Lorenzo Alcazar (Ted King) and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) father, and numerous affairs as well, although not quite as many as Sonny!

General Hospital Spoilers – The Guest List For The Corinthos Vow Renewal

The guest list for the Corinthos vow renewal are their family members and close friends Kristina, Carly’s mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), who will be the flower girl, Mike Corbin (Max Gail), Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Michael. And, of course, Baby Corinthos will be present inside of her mother’s tummy!
