General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Corinthos And Ava Jerome Take Over Port Charles?

General Hospital Spoilers tease that on two separate occasions now, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has allowed Ava Jerome (Maura West) to assist her in dealing with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). As viewers know, Ava invited Cyrus to a family dinner on Wyndemere not all that long ago, claiming to want to bring the family together. In truth, Ava and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) were asked to keep Cyrus busy while Carly attended to other things.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome volunteered to decoy for Gladys Corbin.

Even more recently, Cyrus managed to abduct Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and demanded that Carly bring Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) in exchange. Gladys was still surgery at the time and Cyrus wouldn’t budge on his one-hour deadline. So Ava, who was standing by, offered to be a decoy for Gladys. Carly reluctantly accepted Ava’s help even against Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) objections. For a second time, Carly has found herself depending on Ava? Will this trend continue?

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Is From A Mob Family already!

Ava is well versed in mob behavior and is a force to be reckoned with. Carly is still new to the mob business, only taking over because Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is unavailable and her husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is presumed to be dead. As much as she may hate to admit it, Carly could most likely learn a lot from Ava right now. But what if Ava continues to offer her assistance to Carly, only to steal the business right out from under Carly.

Carly has never trusted Ava and now probably isn’t the right time to let down her guard. While it seems as though Ava is more focused on her marriage to Nikolas, it might all just be part of Ava’s plan, which most likely she is in on with Nikolas anyway. But the more Carly gives Ava to do, the more power she could be building behind the scenes, Although the Five Families chose Carly over Cyrus, they might see Ava as an even better candidate, given her experience. If this does happen, look for Sonny to return home not long after.
