General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Corinthos Struggles To Help Joss After Oscar's DeathGeneral Hospital spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will be supportive to someone – or several someones, perhaps – this week on General Hospital. This undoubtedly has to do with the untimely recent death of Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) who succumbed to his rapidly advancing brain tumor in Wednesday, May 1st’s episode of General Hospital.

Carly has many among family and friends who are in the throes of extreme grieving and heartbreak and will welcome Carly’s shoulder to cry on and arms to hug them.

General Hospital Spoilers – Josslyn Devastated By Oscar’s Death

Of course, her daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is at the top of that list, with good friends Drew Cain (Billy Miller), Oscar’s birth father, his birth mother and Carly’s obstetrician, Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun), Oscar’s uncle, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and of course her own son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who while he wasn’t real close to Oscar, was still affected by his cousin’s death and all the grieving around him.

Carly can be a rock for others when she needs to be; but sometimes that can be a source of stress for the person trying to be strong for others. Carly’s not nearly “over” losing her own son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) but can empathize like no one else, except perhaps her own mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) with Kim for the loss of her child.

Obviously, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) can also empathize, having lost her son AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) and adopted daughter Emily Quartermaine (Natalia Livingson) but she needs someone to lean on now herself, since she considered Oscar her grandson even though he was a step-grandson through her late husband, Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon). Monica appeared to have gotten very close to Oscar in a very short amount of time!

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Needs To Take Care Of Herself Too

Carly will need to take care to take care of herself while trying to “take care of” Josslyn and other close family and friends while they are grieving for Oscar.

Other General Hospital spoilers tease it will take a long time for Josslyn to be able to move through her grieving, because she and Oscar felt they were soulmates, and she kept up hope for both of them until the bitter end that some type of miracle would manifest itself for Oscar; but unfortunately that never happened.
