General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Hopes To Get Drew To Back Off On Finding Willow’s Parents

General Hospital spoilers tease, when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) decided to embark on a search for Willow’s birth parents, they didn’t think twice about telling their family. Whoever they find in Willow’s family tree will potentially become a part of the family with everyone else. So it’s only fair that they are looped into what’s going on.

If Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) is about to gain a new set of grandparents, it would be ideal to have everyone on board. Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) reception of the news couldn’t go any better, and he immediately offers to help them track down Willow’s birth parents — starting in Colorado. As for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she can’t think of a worse idea.

When Drew offers to help find Willow’s birth parents, Carly can’t believe the words that come out of his mouth. GH Spoilers  – Suggest Carly Spencer Feels Uneasy About His Offer

Carly is going to have a hard time being honest with Drew as long as she can’t even be honest with herself. She would never wish harm on Willow, but given that Carly doesn’t know why it’s important that Willow find her birth parents, she’s assuming her desire to is entirely based on emotion. For the time being, Carly’s own feelings are going to trump Willow’s in her mind. She doesn’t want Willow to come anywhere close to discovering who her birth mother is, and it’s not just because she might find out Carly knew all this time.

Carly doesn’t think it’s best for anyone to know the truth, even if she didn’t know. In fact, much of the time, she wishes she didn’t. From her perspective, Nina is a burden and it would weigh on Willow heavily to know she was a twin to Nelle Benson-Jerome (Chloe Lanier). She doesn’t want Willow to feel tainted by knowing her parents are Nina and Silas Clay (Michael Easton). So when Drew offers to help speed up the process, Carly is going to do whatever she can to push pause on that.

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain And Carly Spencer Disagree

Drew won’t call Carly out on her bad behavior in front of Michael and Willow, but he is going to confront her about why she seems so nervous and opposed to Willow finding out who her birth parents are. It might briefly cross Drew’s mind that Carly was rather traumatized and uneasy after watching Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) die and being left holding onto her deepest secrets.

Drew may consider that Carly is feeling leftover nerves that don’t hold any weight, and since Carly lied to him, she’s in no position to tell him why she really doesn’t want him helping Willow without also jeopardizing her relationship with him. Will Carly continue to hold onto this secret until it’s too late to ask for Drew’s forgiveness?
