General Hospital Spoilers: Carly In Love, Can Drew Fill Jason’s Shoes

General Hospital: Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright)General Hospital Spoilers hints Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) cup will soon overflow with love for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). The friendship these two share is far from new, but it doesn’t have the roots that Carly’s friendship with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) did. Still, Carly knows she has to move on from Jason and that he’s not coming back. How many times can a girl get her dead husband back, right? But she’s still not sure of what’s waiting on the other side of this friendship with Drew, or whether she should break through and find out.

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain Rides In On His White Horse

Yes, Carly is fierce. She’s a force to be reckoned with. But sometimes, Carly finds herself in need of rescuing — even if it is from herself! Jason knew this well. When Carly got in over her head, he was always there to bail her out, and he never made her feel ashamed or less than him for needing help. In many ways, Carly rescued Jason as well. Any doubts Carly had about whether Drew was really meant to be more than a friend went out the window when he showed up at her hotel room door in Florida.

The realization that he traveled all that way just to check in on her and support her really made Carly step back and reevaluate what was happening between the two of them. She had made peace with being alone after losing Jason and subsequently losing her marriage to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Will she let herself be vulnerable enough to open her heart again to love — with Drew?

GH Spoilers – Says Drew Cain Won’t Be Able To Compete With Jason Morgan’s Memory, But That’s OK

The beginning of this pairing is going to take off hot! Carly and Drew will both continue to beam from ear to ear. She will find familiar comfort in the arms of Jason’s twin, and the two will fall in love. But a secret is lurking that Carly has kept from Drew, and it stands to blow their new romance to smithereens.

When Drew finds out Carly knew all along that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mother, he won’t question why she didn’t tell everyone the truth. That’s obvious; Carly hates Nina and resents her for stealing ex-hubby Sonny away from his family.

But for Drew, what will pain him is that Carly kept that truth from him. He will confront Carly and question the strength of their relationship and her faith in him, asking whether she would have told Jason the whole truth. The look on Carly’s face will say it all.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hints Carly Corinthos Is Ready For Something New

Even though Drew is the runner-up to Jason Morgan in Carly’s (and pretty much everyone else’s) heart, this love affair is still going to happen. It’s time for a fresh start for Carly, and much of her energy will be spent on carving out what comes next in her new life with Drew by her side.

This is General Hospital: no one can really fill Jason’s shoes when his body was never found. Stay tuned for all the juicy deets on what comes next for Carly and Drew, and who might have a problem with their hot new union!

Drew’s not in Carly’s league. Find her someone else. Wish Drew stayed off the show

Jill, I soooooo totally agree with you!!! I’ve been saying they need to find a sophisticated smart handsome business man to come into PC to sweep Carly off her feet.
I like how you put it…….Carly is way out of Drew’s league You’re spot on!!!

Please…..Carly in love with Drew??? Writers need to give it a break. Stop breaking up the good couple just to stick the characters with those they have absolutely no chemistry with.

Start focusing on follow through and finishing all these storylines that are just hanging out there in the universe. Stop constantly starting new ones and then doing nothing with them.

This gets more ridiculous and absurd with each passing day!!!
