General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Isn’t a Barrier Between Jason And Britt Anymore, But Sam Could Be!

General Hospital spoilers gush Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was a thorn in Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) side the last time she fell for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

No matter what was going on, Carly always came first, and Britt was always going to be second in line. But this time around, things are just slightly different.

While Jason’s loyalty will always lie with the family, he’s not romantically bound to be Carly’s protector anymore.

Rumor has it Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) could be on her way back to Port Charles soon. I know, I know. She’s supposed to be dead. Well, so were Jason and Britt.

While Carly might not be gunning for Jason’s hand in marriage these days, that doesn’t mean Sam isn’t going to resurface with an entirely different future in mind for herself.

The Gossip Mill Churns

A recent tidbit of gossip surfaced suggesting Sam might be coming home, folks! A postmortem return means some kind of dramatic explanation for what really happened to her when she “died,” where she’s been since, and how she came back.

Will Jason be responsible for being this ex’s savior too, or is that too much? Is Britt going to be willing to share him with Sam if she comes back with her head turned in direction? Hey, what about Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampronga)?

GH Spoilers Tease Carly Isn’t Completely Out of Sight

Britt is right to still have concerns about Carly. Her recent trials and tribulations with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) will ensure that she’s knocking on Jason’s door for help soon.

In 100% of cases, he’ll have to leave Britt behind no matter the situation she is in to tend to Carly’s emotional needs, even if her physical safety isn’t at risk.

Is Britt tough enough to handle that now and trust that he’ll come back to her, or is there no way to mend the wound that he left the last time?

If she takes a leap of faith to trust him, and he burns her with Sam this time around, there won’t be any going back to Britt for round three.

A Tear Jerking Goodbye

Remember that scene when Jason learned Sam was gone, and when he went to her room for that killer goodbye? For years, we yearned for the kind of romance and chemistry that only JaSam brought to the screen.

That goodbye convinced many of us that the love was always still there, even if Sam took another path in life. But so much could have changed since her untimely “death” that we can’t be certain she’ll come back the same as she left.

If she returns with an ax to grind with the person who took her from her family, she may find that Jason serves her needs better than Dante does.

Dante might also find himself conflicted now that he has sort of moved on and seems to be getting closer to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening).

Whether friends or something more, would Sam’s return upend any progress Jason is making with Britt? I hope we’re about to find out! Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers right here, friends.

Yes the goodbye scene with Sam definitely showed their was still love for her and should she return to canvas she definitely would be a threat to Britt. Britt seems to need sole access to Jason’s feelings which is sort of questionable as she is not a teen and knows Jason had a life pre her involvement with him. Not too sure if Britt would even have a problem with Jason answering Danny’s calls either. Britt is insecure and also seems a little immature. Never felt a Jason/Britt romantic pairing worked previously and won’t this time around especially with an obstacle as Sam in the picture should she return to canvas seeking her old life back which includes Jason.

I have just about given up of Sam’s return, and if she did, I would want it to be Kelly Monaco that played her. They have teased us so much about Sam’s return, I will only believe it if I see it; although it would be absolutely wonderful to see her back on GH.

I think it’s awful bring the dead back as far as Jason we never saw him die because he never did. All the others we did see and the story lines to bringing them back never makes since and Sam gave Jason a hard time with letting him see Danny so how would that change a complete turn around

You’ve brought back enough dead people. Let Sam be gone, haven’t missed her. Why bother to kill people if they aren’t dead. Hopefully the Nathan story will work out and not be some bizarre thing after all.
