General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Learns What Michael Is Up To — Will She Change His Mind?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been painstakingly working on taking his father down for the last year. Setting up shop with a plant like Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) on the inside was the best way to see to it that a rock-solid case could be built against Sonny which would land him in prison for the rest of his life.

The Corinthos name would no longer be tainted by crime, and Michael would see to it that only good came from their family from there on out.

However, what Michael didn’t anticipate was that he wouldn’t feel so confident about this takedown as it drew near, and he never thought his little sister, Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy), would rat him out, either.

When Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finds out what her son is up to, she just might force him to see things in a new light.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos’s Plan Is Nearly Complete

Michael has been hunkering down and waiting for Dex to hold up his end of the deal. Taking Sonny down may not delight Michael the way he’s thinking it will, but he won’t let anyone know that up front.

As his empire starts to crumble, Michael is going to feel vindicated and like he is making the right moves. But knowing his father is going to be in jail — and his little sisters will be paying for his mistakes — isn’t going to feel good or help him catch any shuteye at night.

On the surface, his well-meaning family will probably think Michael is just reacting to the imminent future that lies ahead — one that doesn’t include the love of his life, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

However, no one knows how deep he’s embroiled in the dismantling of his father’s business. The truth is, Michael is starting to feel guilty about what he would be putting his family through, and he’s also not so sure his father deserves this.

Sure, he’s upset with him, and he’s not sure whether he wants to be in his life, but is it time to let bygones be bygones?

When Michael decides he actually wants to bring this whole operation to a screeching halt, it’s going to send his little sister over the edge.

While Sonny might have given Joss and Dex the ay-okay on their relationship, signaling they didn’t need to hide it from him, that doesn’t mean he’s willing to hand Dex over to Joss and let him out of the business with a clean bill of health.

Few ever get that opportunity; most leave the mob in a body bag, or worse. Joss can’t stick it out with Dex forever if he’s going to continue to follow in Sonny’s footsteps.
