General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Starts Dating Again, Sonny Goes Ballistic

General Hospital: Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) have pretty much settled on all the terms of their divorce. Barring any unforeseen issues, their marriage will soon be a thing of the past. That means that Carly will be free to begin dating again. Usually this would mean that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) would try to sweep Carly off her feet once again. But Jax is out of the picture, at least for the time being. So when Carly starts dating again, she won’t be relying on her usual patterns.

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Carly Corinthos Go Out With Drew Cain?

Although they shared a few kisses not long ago, it seems unlikely at this point for Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to become anything more than friends. Drew is the twin of her best friend Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) which might make a dating situation between them way to awkward. Drew seems to serve best as a good friend, someone that Carly can talk to. To complicate that relationship may not be something that either one of them would be willing to risk in the long run.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Made His Feelings About Drew Cain Quite Clear.

Although Sonny apologized in his own way, his recent outburst about Drew was rather telling. He basically told Drew that he was a pale imitation of Jason, and that the wrong brother came back from Greece, where Jason allegedly died. Sonny was off his meds and drinking heavily at the time, but those words didn’t come out of nowhere. Imagine if Carly and Drew became an item. Sonny would be beside himself and would likely start some sort of vendetta against Drew.

General Hospital Spoilers – Against All Odds!

On the other hand, perhaps the road to love has already been paved for Drew and Carly. They had some very intimate talks by “Jason’s” bridge. Perhaps being together would make them both feel closer to Jason, even though he is dead and gone. And as mentioned above, they seem to have great chemistry as evident from their kissing encounter. As far as Sonny goes, Carly may decide that it’s none of his business. If Sonny can be with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), then she can be with Drew. There are a lot of reason for this couple to pursue a romance, and just as many reasons not to.

      If Carly and Drew become an item, it's going to be as hard to watch as Sonny and Nina or Sam and Dante. It used to be 'Love in the afternoon'. Now its Nausea in the mid-day'.

      Put Carly and Sonny back together this show is starting to make me not want to watch it.

      Sonny slept with Nina and Carly walked in. Why would you forgive that? This is a different, out of character, Sonny. He’s a shell of his old self and needs to hit rock bottom before Carly takes him back. Nina needs to find another live interest but I like her “misunderstood” character

      I agree the Love In The Afternoon has definitely got up and went but beig nauseating is a little overstated in my opinion. Pairings don't create a much as chemistry as they once did whereby most viewers were actually rooting for a pairing or a hit the sheets scene to become reality. Now it seems as if two characters are going through the motions of what is to be presented as Love In The Afternoon. I share your pain and am sure there are many viewers out there who have the same feelings
