General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Stunned by “Nathan” Encounter – Will Cassius Betray Cullum to Save Josslyn?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will have an unexpected encounter with “Nathan Reeves” (Ryan Paevey) this week on the ABC soap.

A first look photo in Soap Opera Digest shows them together in a room at Wyndemere Castle, might she ask him to help her free Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)?

Carly Has No Idea That “Nathan”  Isn’t Nathan At All!

At this time, Carly has no idea that “Nathan” isn’t Nathan at all, but rather, his identical twin separated at birth, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).

The photo shows Carly talking to “Nathan” and him looking at her, listening intently-Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) should be somewhere in the vicinity too, since they planned to go together.

But neither of them would have intended to run into “Nathan”, considering the place had previously been crawling with WSB agents-Carly knowing Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) is dirty, they’d have waited.

But “Nathan” can come up with a very easy answer, one that Carly and Lucas will find believable-he’s there to stake out Wyndemere in case Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) comes back-he’s on the case!

What isn’t so easy is what to answer to Carly’s question, since he’s the one who put Josslyn there in the first place!

Cassius Has To Think Quick!

Cassius has to think quick, as to how he’s going to answer-he’s not sure if either Josslyn, or possibly his mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) would expose him or not.

And besides, there’s Cullum to worry about, and if not him, one of his WSB goons, who may or may not support him-let alone, obey his orders!

The last thing that any of them needs is for Cullum to walk in on Cassius, Lucas and Carly at the captivity compound, and Liesl, her roommate and Josslyn all be targets.

Of course, Liesl’s one salvation would be that she’s not quite finished with the prototype yet, but once she is, she’ll be killed as well!

However, Carly may be temporarily spared, or possibly imprisoned as well, since Cullum wants to kidnap her and tried to have Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) kidnapped, to draw out Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart!)

“Nathan’s” In A Bind As Carly “Reveals” Cullum’s A Double Agent

“Nathan’s” in a bind as Carly might reveal what she knows, that Cullum is a double agent who kidnapped Liesl to complete a dangerous weapon prototype!

If he can dance around searching for Joss, telling Carly and Lucas that Wyndemere was thoroughly searched and nothing was found, she’ll probably blame Cullum’s lying and take away his excuse!

He can’t just say nothing in response to Liesl being kidnapped to complete Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) last project, he has to at least look shocked-he’d already confronted Cullum.

Perhaps he’ll just play along and hope for the best, and take Carly and Lucas down there, but it’s a big risk!
