General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Back, And She’s Questioning Willow’s Behavior

General Hospital spoilers reveals when Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) took off to Aruba for a business conference, she was absent-minded about what her future held. Nothing looked clear to her. What was she going to do to reinvent herself as a businesswoman since she lost the Metro Court Hotel — to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) no less? Her time as a hotelier was over, as was her marriage to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But a detour in Jacksonville provided a respite she needed to reevaluate who she was — from her past to her present. Now that she’s at peace with both, she’s headed back to Port Charles with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) holding her hand walking into the future that awaits them.

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Corintos’s Return Is A Reality Check

The time Carly spent with Drew in Florida was a welcomed distraction from real life. She practically forgot all about the secret she’s been keeping from Drew, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), and everyone else. Willow is Nina’s child, and Nelle Benson-Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) twin sister! This revelation rocked Carly to her core when Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) shared it with her from her deathbed.

But Carly didn’t have the heart to break her promise to Harmony that she would protect Willow from Nina, and she certainly couldn’t bring herself to tell Willow the full truth while she was still grieving the loss of her mother. Finding out her birth mother was actually someone she hated would have been so painful during that time.

But now that Carly is going to be back in Port Charles, she’s going to take note of what has changed since she left. Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) have grown quite distant from one another — especially for a couple who is expecting their first biological child together. Michael appears cold and distracted, and Willow is consumed by her time spent at the hospital. Carly will wonder how this came to be, and she might end up just as suspicious as Nina has been.

When Nina starts to imply she knows something about Willow that Carly doesn’t, the irony won’t be lost on her. All this time, Carly has known Nina has another daughter right here in Port Charles, and she’s keeping it from her. Meanwhile, Nina will taunt Carly with the hidden truth she thinks she knows about Willow and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow). Carly won’t take kindly to Nina’s implications, but she won’t ignore them either.
