GH spoilers reveal that Carly’s entire life has blown up. Carly lost Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) after he turned up alive. Carly lost Jason Morgan (formerly played by Steve Burton). Carly has also lost tons of money after throwing it all into the Aurora/ELQ merger, which Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) nixed.

With Carly’s half of the Metro Court belonging to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) now, what does the future hold? It has been teased that Carly might find a new career path and one that she never expected.

GH Spoilers – Drew Cain Steps In

Drew already feels guilty about Carly losing her half of the Metro Court. Drew tried to step in and make things right for Carly. However, Drew’s proposition to Nina failed. Plus, Carly made it clear that she didn’t want Drew fixing things for her.

Mia the executive coach helped Drew with his career goals. So, it seems that Drew will recruit Mia to help Carly figure out her new path.

General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 8 reveal that Carly and Drew will meet with Mia. The trio will have a strategy session, which could yield some surprising avenues for Carly. Mia is going to need to know Carly’s situation and figure out where she wants to go from here.

Carly will likely learn how to use her old skills in a new and exciting way. Carly might not know what she wants to do, but she certainly knows what she is passionate about.

GH Spoilers – Independence Teased

Carly will be taking steps to get control of her life back. Even though Carly and Drew are currently in a romance, Wright teased something interesting on Twitter. The actress hinted that fans could see Carly could be an independent woman who doesn’t lean on any man. 

That doesn’t mean Carly won’t have a man in her life. However, it does suggest that Carly will be in the driver’s seat as she ventures on a new path. The question is what kind of career will Carly jump into? That remains to be seen but it should be interesting to find out!

      Just because Carly/Drew are making googly eyes at one another (unless I missed something), does not mean they are in a romance in my opinion. Do feel that writers will try to explore this angle, but it has not yet been actually been pursued as a pairing. I like the idea of Carly going solo and straightening out the mess she made of her life as far as the Metro Court is concerned, and doing so without a man. Strong women figures need to be brought back to GH.
