General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Forgery Discovered, Will That Give Nelle Custody Of Wiley?

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly's Forgery Discovered, Will That Give Nelle Custody Of Wiley?General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may just have wrecked her son’s chances at getting sole custody of her grandson, Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson). As GH fans may recall, Carly made the rash decision apparently to forge Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) signature on a parental waiver for elective surgery.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Forges a Signature

After giving Wiley’s biological mother the opportunity to (in her opinion) act like a reasonable human being, Carly boldly locked Nelle on the rooftop of General Hospital. Carly then proceeded (apparently) to forge Nelle’s signature. While this may have been a victory in the short term, Carly’s actions may come back to bite Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in the very near future.

Some GH fans may be asking how Carly’s actions might harm Michael’s efforts to gain full custody of Wiley. After all, now the parental waiver is missing, and it seems the Quartermaine-Corinthos-Spencer women have conspired to make that happen. Where will Nelle gather evidence that Carly harmed her parental rights and committed a crime? Some might think that Carly’s laid the smackdown on Nelle in this situation. But, has she?

General Hospital Spoilers – Psycho Nelle Pieces Shredded Paper Back Together

Now, there are GH fans who will say it’s a leap to suggest that Nelle might find the parental waiver that viewers watched Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) shredded. However, it may not be such a stretch. After all, GH viewers know that Nelle usually gets what Nelle wants. If anything, Nelle is one of the most determined GH characters ever written. It may not be hard to imagine that Nelle might run through all kinds of scenarios in her mind. She knows the waiver is missing.

How could it have gone missing? Who could have taken it? Once Nelle has a list of mental suspects, all she has to do is take what she knows about them and then think about what he or she might have done with the document.

If Nelle miraculously concludes that the parental waiver was shredded, she might go digging through the trash. Finding shredded papers, it’s not hard to believe that Nelle might stuff all that shredded paper into a pocket or her purse and then attempt to piece it together later. Even that’s not hard to envisage. After all, shredded paper can actually be put back together if a strip shredder does the shredding!

Now, if Nelle tries to do all that by herself, it could take her a while. Still, she could do it. On the other hand, say Nelle gets someone digitally to scan those strips … Boom shakalaka!

Nelle now has the evidence she needs to prove Carly committed a crime.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Blows it for Michael

GH fans can imagine what might happen if Nelle shows up to the family court hearing with her attorney in tow. Together, Nelle and her lawyer have evidence proving that Michael’s mom forged Nelle’s signature to allow an elective surgery for Wiley. Nelle could argue that she wasn’t given the chance to even look for a second opinion. Carly denied her Nelle’s parental rights out of hand … and who is Carly to do such a thing? What authority does Carly hold?

That’s right. None.

Moreover, Nelle could argue that Michael and for that matter, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) knew about Carly’s plan. In one fell swoop, Nelle would be able to discredit Michael’s image as a responsible, loving parent and defame one of Port Charles’s most prestigious surgeons!

In the end, should Nelle be able to prove that Carly forged her signature, GH viewers can expect a smiling Nelle Benson to walk out of Wiley’s custody hearing with full and sole legal custody of her child.
