General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Life Blows Up As She’s Arrested For Insider Trading!

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) life will soon blow up in her face! She could very well be arrested for insider trading in future GH episodes!

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos, The Wizard Of Wall Street – Not!

Carly truly thought she was making a brilliant business decision and fancying herself the Port Charles version of the wizard of Wall Street when she bought all that Aurora Media stock! She put up her half ownership of The Metro Court without even telling her business partner, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) about it, pouring likely millions of dollars into Aurora stock. She was very proud of herself for saving the day by making the Aurora Media/ELQ merger a success because the Aurora stock skyrocketed!

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) warned her not to put all her eggs in one basket, but perhaps he was as naïve as she to corporate stock dealings. What Carly really did, since she was aware of the merger plans before the ELQ shareholders’ meeting is a white collar crime called insider trading!

GH Spoilers – Overconfidence Can Be A Bad Thing

There’s nothing wrong with a healthy self-esteem, whether it be personal or belief in yourself pertaining to your abilities as relates to your career. But sometimes overconfidence can be a bad thing, and it certainly was in Carly’s case; Drew and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) were perhaps also a bit overconfident. But Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) threw them for a loop when instead of being loyal to the Quartermaine family, he teamed up with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) instead! He and Valentin voted against the merger, bringing a tie; Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) cast the deciding vote, also against the merger! Aurora’s stock plummeted, and the failed merger hit the news so that makes Carly good for an insider trading conviction!

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain’s Bad News

While Valentin announced there would be no merger and Michael exploded at Ned, along with several others, Drew was headed out to look for Carly, his own head exploding! Not only was the failed merger big news, now the Aurora stock was plummeting and he had to warn Carly! By the time he found her at the Metro Court, after having a bragging party about how their lives were changing for the better she’d already ignored calls from her broker!!

There’s nothing Drew or Michael can do to bail her out and Ned and Valentin certainly won’t! Carly’s only got thirty days to get her half of the hotel back and she doesn’t have the funds!

GH Spoilers  – From Bad To Worse To Prison?

Drew and Michael are losing money hand over fist and are desperate to help Carly get her half of the hotel back. There’s a very slim chance Ned might save the day and buy Carly’s half of the hotel for Olivia; but that won’t help Carly! She’s burned a permanent bridge with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) so he won’t be willing to help and Drew scrambles to find a solution. The solution he finds won’t be something Carly will like – but Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is willing to loan Carly the money in exchange for visitation with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver)! Talk about a rock and a hard place – but even worse, Carly could still be found guilty of insider trading and be on her way to prison!
