Carly was completely stunned by the news.

Before dying, Harmony begged for Carly and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to protect Willow. Harmony said that Nina’s love would smother Willow. The dying woman also made it clear that Willow had to be protected at any cost.

Some people might think Carly is truly doing what’s in Willow’s best interest. However, Willow won’t see it that way at all.

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, actress Katelyn MacMullen discussed what’s going through Willow’s mind.

“Willow is sick of feeling like she’s at the mercy of other people telling her the truth or not. So she’s like, ‘You know what? It’s time. I need to get this DNA test and I need to figure out the truth for myself. Alexis [Davis, Nancy Lee Grahn] knew for who knows how long and didn’t tell me, so I can’t necessarily rely on other people to tell me!’ I think she’s tired of second-guessing everyone. She’s suffered a major betrayal…”

If Willow found out the truth about Nina right away, it would have sent her head spinning. However, Willow probably would have been very careful about how she approached the relationship if she wanted it at all.

However, with everyone keeping the whole truth a secret, Willow could feel betrayed once again by people she trusted. That could cause Willow to make a shocking decision. Is it possible that Willow could turn on the Corinthos’ after feeling deceived about Nina? Could the mother and daughter join forces? Willow is a sweet, good character. So, it might be time to show Willow’s darker half.
