After having been questioned by Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) about the night that Brennan disappeared, Carly immediately requested the closed-circuit camera footage.

She had to see if it may have shown herself and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in Drew’s office, where they’d gone to look for some leverage they could use against him, which was when he broke into her office!

But what Carly saw first, when she got the requested footage, was Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn); she stopped right there.

She called Valentin immediately and told him that Charlotte and Danny had been in the Metro Court that night!

Even though later, they would go swimming in the Metro Court pool after closing time and encounter Brennan’s body, first they were in the hallway near Drew’s office. That may be what Carly saw!

As Danny’s shocking involvement in the Brennan mystery comes to light, Carly and Valentin have even more reason to worry.

Carly and Valentin’s concern was to find Brennan’s movements that day, since they were suspicious that he could be dead and possibly hidden somewhere in the hotel.

But it looks like they find Danny’s and Charlotte’s instead, and they were also trying to get into Drew’s office to find dirt on him, but never made it.

That’s because they heard Carly and Valentin inside and hurried away from the office door. At this same time, Drew was in Carly’s office putting the virus in her computer.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) would soon be in the Metro Court Gardens with Jack, putting a sleeping pill supplied by Drew in his scotch.

Once the virus was in and shut down the cameras, that’s when Drew was rifling through Brennan’s suite!

With Drew and Ava’s involvement in Brennan’s disappearance, Carly may be closer to discovering what really happened than she realizes.

Wouldn’t it be something if Drew’s own dirty trick came back to haunt him? He went to all that trouble to shut down the Metro Court cameras, but Carly may already have the evidence she needs to start putting the pieces together.

I’m especially curious about what else is on that footage. Carly was so distracted by seeing Danny and Charlotte that she may have missed something much bigger. If Drew was caught near her computer before the cameras went down, he’d have a lot of explaining to do!
