He’s never done anything or taken her anywhere intentionally where she would be in danger—although danger found them at least a couple of times!

As viewers saw during Charlotte’s emotional goodbye before leaving for boarding school, Valentin has faced some difficult decisions concerning his daughter.

Valentin would protect Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) as if she were his own, although Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) probably wouldn’t like it!

And whenever Charlotte does come home, she would probably be fine with Donna, and Donna with her, when Donna is at home and not with Sonny.

Annemarie’s Take: Carly and Valentin have an interesting connection, but I’m not convinced marriage would be a smart move just yet! Anna is still in the picture, and Valentin has a long history of keeping secrets. I’d love to see Carly happy, but she should make sure Valentin is completely over Anna before putting a ring on it!
