Also known as Diane Miller on “General Hospital,” Carolyn Hennesy is part of the most awaited movie of the year, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker!” Hennesy portrays the role of Demine Lithe in the movie, which is set to premiere on December 20.
This is not Hennesy’s first stint in the world of “Star Wars.” She’s the voice behind the character of Leia Organa in “Star Wars Resistance” and “Lego Star Wars: All-Stars.”
General Hospital News – Carolyn Hennesy’s Acting Career
Hennesy appeared on “Dawson’s Creek” back in the 2000 to 2001 season. She also had supporting roles in the movies “Global Effect” in 2002, “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” in 2003, “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde” in 2003, “Click,” in 2006, “The Heat Chamber” in 2003, and “Cougar Club” in 2007.
She’s also appeared on “The ‘70s Show,” “Reba,” and “What I Like About You.” She voiced Blair Lansfield in the video game “Star Ocean: Till The End of Time” and joined the cast of HBO’s “True Blood” and Netflix’s “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.”
Hennesy took on the role of Diane Miller on “General Hospital” back in 2006. Her impeccable performance has earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2010. She won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting or Guest Actress in a Digital Daytime Drama Series for her role as Karen Blackwell in the soap opera web series “The Bay” in 2016.

Hennesy isn’t just a wonderful actress. She’s also a great writer. She’s penned a series of children’s books that’s based on the character Pandora. Her first book, “Pandora Gets Jealous,” was released in January 2008. In August 2008, the sequel “Pandora Gets Vain” was released while the third installment, “Pandora Gets Lazy,” was released in March 2009. Book four, “Pandora Gets Heart” and book five “Pandora Gets Angry” was released in January 2010 and February 2011, respectively. “Pandora Gets Greedy” and “Pandora Gets Frightened” was released in 2012 and 2013.
General Hospital News – An Animal Welfare Advocate
Hennesy is also an animal welfare advocate and a wildlife conservationist. She’s part of several animal rights organizations and an advocate of the zoo and aquarium industry and supports the Lucy Pet Foundation. She produced the radio program “Animal Magnetism” and was also named as an “American Humane Association” celebrity ambassador.
