Carly cleverly concealed a key adorned with a blue ribbon on the porch of Lulu’s house, which ultimately led to Charlotte discovering it and understanding its significance.
Valentin was reassuring Charlotte of his safety while encouraging her to remain where she was. This was Valentin’s unique way of reaching out to his cherished daughter, but Lulu is bound to be furious when Charlotte eventually reveals that she has heard from her father.

Naturally, Lulu will insist that Charlotte inform her immediately if any new key surfaces or if Valentin attempts to reach out through any other means.
